Help My Plants are Autoflowering!!

ya ralphie is right, If you keep a mother or other in vegg for long enough they will preflower to the point where white pistils (or in ur case big ol ballsacks) appear. This is because they have reached full maturity and are really looking forward to flowering (or in ur case bustin balls). Having your lighting schedule in 18-6 may also be a little much. If your runnin a 400 u might as well just leave that ho on all day.
 
Screw 18/6, my plants didn't like it, just go 24. As for pre flowers, all of my plants pre flowered... I liked it :)

i would be very interested in finding out why those plants flowered under 18/6. regardless of sex. those certainly AREN'T pre-flowers. those are "fully" flowering. watering during lights out? no big deal. if you were on 12/12 and interrupted the dark cycle then you would have problems. this wouldn't cause them TO flower. :-|:confused:
 
damn fdd thanks for the hatred...you do know everything. The thing is its a really simple answer that everyone wants to try to answer. The dude should really just check out the growfaq for stuff this newb. I see my response from earlier as simple and somewhat helpful thank you. Besides we are triyin to grow here not take f'in botany. Cheese w/ ur whine?

so what's the answer? i want to know. i really don't know everything. it took 13 posts for someone to actually answer the first question. and where's the "whine"? i don't get it.

basically hes having a problem with his plants preflowering? This is not really a problem so i suggested that he just keep them in 24hours veg. With my limited knowledge I would say that having a normal 24 hour cycle should solve this problem. Please keep in mind fdd that this is FORUM and ppl (even ones with less experience) are trying to help homeboy out. Keep an open mind and dont hate on anyone trying to offer their 2 cents. Thanks, and I wasnt being sarcastic earlier...you have helped me solve a problem before.

i just want to point out ....those ARE NOT pre-flowers. once again that plant is in FULL flower mode. pre-flowers are one pod not huge clusters as pictured. something has caused that plant to go into flower mode. may it be light cycle or strain related i still do not know.
 
lol i realize that it is beyond preflowering and this is also the point of the thread. I also realize that looking at the big picture of growth...who tha f cares! Do you really want to know why ur plants are MALE AND FLOWERING in 18-6 or do you want to know how to not make EITHER of those things happen...thats what i was going for. Honestly I didnt even read 1/2 this thread, but if the point is to figure out why 2 males plants are flowering in 18-6 then I think this is a waste of time LATERS. Hey FDD keep on that research i really want to know when you get to the bottom of why these plants full of seeds are flowering early, beacuse it woudl really add to my knowledge base of "STUFF U NEVER NEED TO KKNOW". But then again thats why we all went to high school right? FDD did you not make it thru High school?

You might want to know, so that perhaps you could either recreate or prevent it in the future if it wasn't merely chance or strain. To just write it off and say 'who the f cares' seems a bit like how a high schooler might approach the subject. Especially since obviously the author of the thread seems to care. Do you not find that fascinating how the same Marijuana plant can adapt and be so versatile as to grow in completely different lighting environments. This is a forum, meant to bring about an exchange of educated ideas so that people might further their knowledge. You're random and not researched responses followed by useless posts of personal attack truly do not contribute much. If you do not know what the problem is, and you do not care, why even post? I wish you the best, but I just felt the need to post because this forum is filled with so much information, yet also filled with many useless posts of this nature. I also find it just plain ignorant for you to speak with someone (fdd), on the topic of botany (with which it would seem he has a bit more experience), so matter of factly and then you close up with, "did you not make it thru High school?"

I went to high school so that I might attend a university and find myself able to converse in a manner more appropriate and contributory than your brain, filled with 'useless' high school knowledge, could ever fathom. Fdd your posts have helped me out with a few grows now, so one love and thanks for doing some semblance of research before posting your responses. We all appreciate it. So does your high school.

Some strains do this my Blue Berry has pistils from about 3 weeks veg and onward...hasn't affected the final product at all either.

Hey Chief-Menebudz what are you growing, I loved all your helpful posts and plant pics you're doing great? Man and here I thought FDD was for real, but after comparing your grow to his I realized you must know so much more. And then when I compared your galleries I realized you grow even look better than FDDs. Do your self a favor and GET LOST, there are many sites to go to, this is not one of them.
 
if u dont mind me asking, a mother plant will flower after a certian amount of time even if its under 24/0 lighting?
