Help my plants

I have 5 plants about 8 inches tall . I transplanted 2 today and they look like they are dying. They were great before I transplanted . I know I did not hit any roots .

looks like a heat issue and the soil looks compacted and non rich?

They we're in my garden and doing great . But as soon as I transplanted they wilted instanly.... Do I need to put in top soil ? Will they do better in that or garden dirt ?

Ya. I am going with heat or you did not harden them before you put them out in the sun.
