I'm 4 weeks into my first grow, and I finally bought a ph meter and found my ph is 5.4 I've got a soil mix of perlite vermiculite, peat, compost, bone meal, blood meal. Also have been using GH 3 part nutes at 1/2 strength. I've got lime, but that takes too long to work. I've heard wood ash works faster, but not sure how much to use. Are there any easy fixes? The bottom leaves on 2 out of 8 plants are yellow, so I'm afraid of nutrient lockout.
