image.jpgimage.jpgMy baby plant is on the verge of dying because I kept it under the lamp too long and now it's kind of brown. Any suggestions.

Idk how to send pics on this, but she's just a baby and it was under a CFl light.. I was getting it ready to grow outside

ok, you can veg plants under 24/7 light. what wattage CFL are you using? how close is it.How much have you been watering it? how mush soil is it in? Can you describe why you think the plant is dying? I have very little to go on.

Umm I've been watering it every other day.. If you know how to send pics on this that would be helpful.

And I think the plant is dying because I accidentally burnt it cause the light was too close to the plant.

with CFL's as long as the light is not touching the plant it should be ok. that assumes your using a standard household CFL. are you adding any nutrients?

I added a pic, and yes I am using a household cfl but I burn It while I was growing at my friends house and idk what type of light he uses.

it's a very blurry pic. however, it looks like it's defiantly burnt. your friend might have been using an incandescent or a HID. But, you've still got some green on your leaves. Assuming they are still taking in light, the plant could bounce back from that, although it might take a bit. Give it a couple days. If you don't see any new growth your probably screwed. keep your CLF a few inches away. don't over water. and Good Luck! worse case, your girls still young. you haven't lost much. try germinating another.

Burry picture, from what i can tell is that plant is tiny, probably sprouted not too long ago. you shouldnt be watering it every other day, water it when its dry. what is the room temp ? better picture and details would help us solve your problem better.

a standard house hold CFL (i.e. 13-23 watt) can get really close to the plant. Just don't let it touch the plant. That's when you'll get heat burn. For veg you can have the light farther away. maybe 6-10 inches. That will encourage the plant to stretch towards the light. if your blooming with CFL's as well you would want them to be around 2 inches from the plant. No farther. That way it can get the most lumens possible.
