HELP!! new grower. rookie mistake. TOO MUCH N!!

Hi, I need help. I have a beutiful half dosen girls All with way too much nitrogen. I really thought they were fine up till now:/. But the claws have turned too dried edges very fast and i now know what the problem is im just not sure on the best way if any too solve it? I am about 6 / 9 weeks of flowering and the buds are nice but could be way better. It was the dame all perpous MG :wall: 8/7/6. I shouldent of even touched the shit untill i undestood what i was doing! now that ive done some research i realize what a mistake i made! Nitrogen during the flowering stage:wall:. Honestly the buds look good either way does anyone know if this will effect the potancey?

it seems like only a small case of nutrient burn =p You could either: A) Continue watering with water adjusted to 6.5 pH for a soil grow and hope they eat their way through the nitrogen excess OR B) Flush a couple gallons of water ph adjusted for soil through your medium. (soil, I'm assuming) Flushing will rinse the excess nutrients out of the medium, meaning you should replenish them appropriately if you choose to flush.

thank you. Yes I am growing in a tripple mix soil. One of the plants look a bit worse now but the rest are fine. I have desided too do the flush now I think its prob best. you think i can still beefw up the yield if i can flush it soon enoff. Oh well, Live and learn. I forgot to mention I had a batch Of compost i made a tea out of. I mixed It with worm Castings. and then watered with a tbl spoon of molases each plant. do you think this has an effect on the N levels. And how much? It was only a tea made from about 2 ltrs of compost and a hand full of castings. had about 8 cups of good tea?

Sry i Had a thought.how About planting some small N loving plants maybe 1 or 2 around the edge of the pot? will this work aswell? i Know it can with tomatos? like i said just a though. any input?

I would say do NOT put anything else in the pots. You have a little extra N, so the advise of just laying off the feeding a bit and letting your plant eat through it, or giving it a light flush sounds good to me.

When your leaves start getting really green like your it's the first sign of to much (N)

your right. just flush and chill. NO MORE MG!! into the garbage it goes! whAT about bending it? or will i likely end up with seedS. Thanx for the advise!

Water it with clear PH adjusted water. Make sure for a pot that size to give it enough for about a half gallon of runoff this time.

Pull it farther away from lights for a few days.. way away.. if you have any blue cfls laying around (very healing in times like these) pull out those for a day or two. keep the heat down. Should be fine..

Miracle grow is fine.. did you by any chance use the wrong end of the scoop? (most common mistake).. there is a scoop with two sides.. For much of their line they say right on the box 'use the BIG end'.. but you read the small print it says 'for indoor plants, use the small end'.. I can' tell you the number of people that are triple dosing their plants, thinking they are reading the instructions and playing by the rules.

Yeah, nothing you can really do now but flush and flush some more. Happened to me on my first plant and seemed to get worse and worse despite flushing. :/ I also ended up with a cal/mag def immediately following the first N toxicity signs so I ended up with this:

Really leafy foxtailly buds with thick, clawed, kinda sandpapery leaves with spots from the cal mag def lol. I also cut too early so I think its safe to say I grew some schwag. But hey, you're a new grower and you just gotta learn from your mistakes!! Here's my plant that I'm growing now...

Spot the difference? Lol, I'm really happy with the way my plants are growing now and learned a ton with my last plant. I don't think potency was affected by the N tox, but the smoke was.... very harsh and tasted bad. But I made some REALLY nice cannabutter and ISO hash. :D

flush them with about 3to 5galls of water the leaves will drope a little for a day or two the will come back and check the ph on water runoff alittle n is o.k during flowering

did it did it did it. I also did deside to clip off the dead shit and bent and tied them down. they are still growing and seem to be doing much better but are def maturing faster then the rest. and the crowns are looking alot like BygonEras first pic there. but the other four are looking just great! yellowing nicely and the buds look great! could be bigger but i think thats what got me into this mess so im gonna be happy with what they give me:lol:!
