Just transferred plants from solo cup to a decent sized planter that has holes in the bottom of it. I slightly watered them last night as the soil was very dry due to our 34 degree Tuesday we had haha. Anyways, watered them when home and then woke up this morning to it storming and pouring rain. What should I do now? Had I known it was going to rain I would have moved them under some trees or roof of some sort, what’s better and what now?

Just let them dry out and keep on trucking. There's nothing much you can do. Unless you got multiple hundred mm of rain overnight it shouldn't be too much of a big deal (for example 50-100mm over the width of your pot is probably only a few L at most if your using a big pot, even less if it was a smaller pot).

Luckily medium can only hold so much water and the rest will drain. If you medium is well aerated/aggregated it will hold enough air even when saturated so it's no biggy once.

Overwatering doesn't usually come from too much water in one application, usually too frequent application.

One double up won't do too much damage.
