Help on sick plant

Posted this jn the newbie forum and didn’t get any comments. Would be grateful for any thoughts.

This plant is about 25 days old in an ebb and flow system. It’s a juicy fruit strain.

Ph 6
Tds 600
Temp 82
Humidity 55
Light 30,000 lumens (led)
Hydroguard in reservoir
Air stone
Reservoir outside room water at 68 degrees
GHE nutes (grow,bloom,micro)
Fabric pot
Hydroton medium
Panda film over flood table

It’s sister in the same reservoir is thriving. This one is shriveled up like she wants to climb back into her seed plus those lower leaves are spotted and dying. My guess is looking at the spots and chlorosis on that bottom leaf that it might have a magnesium deficiency. I’ve added about 15ml of calmag to a 20 gallon reservoir since yesterday. Going to give it a couple days and see how it responds.

Any ideas on what’s up here. Weird looking little plant.

Looks like a nutrient issue! Could be not enough N, too much P/K. This could be causing lock out. I’d check your reservoir and throw the water. Look to flush and then add a new batch at a slightly lower level...

Thanks for the thoughts. I did a res change as well. Should have mentioned that. Had some algae in the water so clearly had a light leak. Cut of the light source and threw some panda film over the top of the res and added the hydroguard. I’m struggling with the fact the other plant is doing great in the same res. I’ll maybe let the tds ease of a bit. It does seem to be consuming nutes. Tds dropped by 8 since yesterday, but it could be the other girl eating.

I think it's worth letting the TDs run down a bit, and if that works great, if not you can rule that problem out. Maybe it's a genetic issue, where did you get your seeds from? I have had similar issues from seeds, where the odd one just doesn't perform like the others and is always the runt of the batch.

These were from sunwest genetics. The idea that it’s just crappy genetics did occur to me. Couldn’t find much about sunwest here although their trustpilot reviews were pretty good. Feel like for the most part I’m following the rules on keeping the environment where it needs to be to the point my wife thinks I am an obsessive nut job. Would be nice to think this just falls under s**** happens. I had good luck with gorilla seeds. Maybe I just stick with the more well known banks in the future. I just really wanted a couple of this strain.

I think I will let the tds run down a bit. At this point I added the calmag and the other plant seems fine. Worst case I have the other one and 2 critical Kali mists that are doing fine. Would bet I get close to a pound on just those.

Anyway thanks for the thoughts.
