Pics would help? top turning brown sounds more like a lock out so yeah I would start by flushing, but could also be light burn/heat stress

IM on my iPhone and don't no how to post pics. If it was nute lock woulndnt it cover the whole plant not just the tops. I migt be heat stress but the degrees at 78. With a fan going. But maybe I hat it to close bout 70. The leaves that have the rust color are real dry with crystalls

nute lock out shows first in new growth

nuteburn, deficiencies/ph problems mostly show at bottom first

if the veins are still green and leaves are a light green it may be a mg deffiancy, mist some epsom salt on the bad girl. I would deff flush tho and see it it helps.
