Hey everyone, this is my first grow. The seed I planted was a feminized white widow. The plant is about 6 weeks old and only about 4 inches. It's still growing leaves, just no upward growth. I'm using miracle gro for tomatoes. I'd really appreciate some advice on what to do to speed up my plant's growth. I attached a few pictures. Thanks guys.

You need to get some REAL nutriens. Soil type. Couse this plant is seem to be stagnating. WW is a good plant, eaven better smoke, one of my favorits8) And she can take some ppm levels (EC). It looks good, just get real nutriens, watch out for ph levels nad you'll be ok

I do mean to butt in...sorry, but what EC reading do you use for about 2-3 week old WW plant? I have mine in light warrior and an EC of 1.6 burnt my plants.

Your EC should not be more then 1 (700ppm) but as the weeks progress so should your feeding. In flower my EC levels hit from 1.5 (week 1 nad 2 of flower) and then i raise it slowly so i reach the value around 1.8 (great white shark & White Widow / Greenhouseseeds was eaven higher, around 2.0 - 2.2) but you have to flush em on a regular bases.

Thanks for the help everyone. I started flushing out the miracle gro yesterday. She grew about an inch today, much better than before!

The soil I'm using is a mix of regular potting soil, pete moss, and sand. For my next grow I will definitely buy "real" soil. I can't afford high-end grow lights though.

i would get 2-3 more cfl;s...and i would also guess that the roots are not getting any air...need some perlite in your soil..it looks compacted.that will restrict root growth and slow the whole plants growth down.and i would untie it...if your not training it it should be able to stand on its own by now.maybe try some lst on it and get more light to the rest of the plant and not just the top leaves...but it looks healthy other then it being that size for 6 weeks old.ive got a plant in a party cup right now..its about 6 weeks in..2 weeks into flower..and its about 2 foot tall.

Sorry guys, but that thing doesn't need fed. It looks quite healthy, actually. IDK, my best guess is that it's that soil being too compact, and wet, partially suffocating it. It needs more light, too, but it should still be quite a bit bigger than that. How are the room temps? Humidity?

I'd go buy some perlite, and mix up some soil with around 20% added, then do a careful transplant, knocking off a good portion of the dirt it's in. That should bring it to life, IMO. :)
