HELP PLEASE FIRST GROW

Hi guys really need some help . Its my first grow .
Seedlings are 7 days old and the one is 9 days which survived from my first batch. I have 150cfl around 2 inches above them . Hydro nft . Been using phd water and formulex root. Temp around 25 and humid 40% day. Night 21, and humidity between 30 35 .
They all look deformed. Except the one from before. Anyone help what im doing wrong. They have fresh air circulating always. Please guys any help m attatched pics

did you rinse your rockwool out first?

i here people have problems with ph if they don't .

or

did you ph your water before or after you put the root stuff in ?

Phd my water afterot and rockwool is phd . 5.8.
Diabolical . U sure its the light as my first batch stretched and died . Its only 140cfl
I have a dual spec 250hps when should i use that. Thanks

Move the light back, they need to develop roots before the extra light will do them any good. First week of life they need just enough not to stretch, then you can move that bulb to 2-3" away.

Used hps first time and light was too far away . Woke up one morning and they was all dry .. also best way to water rockwool ? And i will move the light up a foot m hopefully that helps.

Rockwool sucks for starting seeds in my experience. Stays too wet, also seems to trap a fair number of sprouts, killing them without your manual, "surgical" intervention.

Sand, soil, vermiculite, ... sterilize medium (i just microwave it wet until very hot, then let cool), then plant, water once, and 90% of the time they pop before a second watering is needed.

I don't Think its light at all.
I think your damping off.
Germinate in soil or paper towels, rockwool holds too much moisture and you'll end up with rotten roots.
That's the issue here mate I think.
Even experienced growers have issues with it sometimes. Try these, they go dark when moist light when dry, perfect for a new grower. And you can transplant in the peat pot because the pot breaks down in soil, so no root damage

Do you or anyone else know of a correct way to transplant a seed germinated in a paper towel into a rockwool cube? Can you share a thread or article on how to do this?

Yeah don't use it lol!
As a practice run fill one up with water and pick it up after a day, once you know by hand how heavy it is full then after you transplant water sparingly and before you water pick it up and if it's heavy leave it alone, if if feels really light like dry rockwool water sparingly again. Root rot kills plain and simple, don't overwater. ONCE YOU GET A FEW SETS OF LEAVES YER IN THE CLEAR.
