So some background info on my plants first. Was a cfl grow with about 200ish watts. Just switched over to HID a couple of days ago. They are 2 weeks into flowering and everything has been perfect. So I installed my HID and didn't test the timer so my plants landed up getting about 24 hours of straight light with high temps around 85. When I finally realized the timer wasn't on and switched it on I had to leave my house for pretty much the whole day which was yesterday. Got back today to find my lights off and turns out my timer broke..... So they got a whole day without lights. When I checked my plants today when I turned on my light they looked beautiful so I set my new timer and it turned on for 6pm. I went to run a few errands and came back home around 7pm to drooping top bud sites curled up leaves and a very sad father (myself) I'm leaning toward head stress because they got a full day of light then a full day of darkness so it had to have messed them up. :( only other thing I have is out of the 5 plants I have one is a different phenotype and it looks perfectly fine!!! Same strain!!!

You may be correct with the heat stress. Normally 85 degrees isn't that hot, but if it was a sudden change from the CFL to HID that may play a part. Is the humidity low, as well? How is the ventilation? was the air moving in the grow area while it got hot?
As for the long day and night, since you caught it early it may not effect the plants too much, but I would keep an eye out for hermies, anyway.

Airflow is great in the grow area and humidity normally sits comfortably around 50. As we speak I just checked on them again and the plants appear to be returning to normal!!!!!

That's good. The girls may need a couple days to get used to the new environment of the more intense light and heat. I hope they bounce back for ya, Good Luck.

^^^I think ProHuman's got it. The change to 85 was a lot for the girls, who were used to lower temperatures. They should adjust as 85 is still acceptable even if it's on the warm side…but see if you can't bring the temperature down to 75-80.
