Hi guys I have this plant. I have it next to a 250watt cfl red spectrum for flowering. Its about 3 to 4 weeks in now. I cannot hang the cfl above the plant as my fitting just broke. Will it be OK hung next to it in a bodged way? . It's still getting light and it's bright in there. Also does my plant look OK? Cheers. I'll send pics too so you can give sike advice. Cheers

On the side is no good. You will cause suffering for all buds not next to the light.
As said above get creative. Get that light above the plants
Edit: honestly with that plant it won't matter. Needs much more than what you have going on. It's gonna be a real small yield regardless of where that light goes.

It emits a fair bit of heat on a 12 12 won't it cause a breakage in the glass at a high heat if I tie it round the glass coz that's the only way I can hang it. The bulb doesn't fit in the reflector no more it broke so it's not actually screwed into the fitting. It's just on a cable I'll send a pic and u will know what I mean lol
I know it will be a small yeuld just wanted to try another plant but I can never get it to produce with thay cfl lol I need a hid or summat but the heat will be too much. I flowered it early and have been giving nutes ect and waters been fine. Not a problem just not enough light lol

As long as I get a out an ounce I'll be OK aha just a lil smoke of something I tried to do haha. I moved the plant closer to the light and just see how it gets on

Isn't every cfl grow a little precarious anyway? 
I mean no disrespect, I enjoy the challenge of floros.
I grew some decent sized kush under t8's way back when, it really did well with the weak lights.
I would just add more cfl's to balance out the side light
The are a pain in the ass to find now, literally 1% of local bulbs are cfl these days. Easier to find screw in 3-6w blurples. T5's are still widely available it seems.
home depot and Lowe's have two price ranges of "clamp lights". A $6 one with a push switch, and a $11 one with a rotating switch. A few blurples or 23w cfl's and you're golden.

I get what you are saying pal I had a plant exactly the same before. I do it for a laugh. It was the same at this stage. And I got a ounce and half. It's only 3 weeks in so got a while yet and adding high pk and some side light. I'll get an oz
