GH or Sunleaves brands are pretty $ reasonable and do the job.

some brands are watered down, water is cheap from my faucet. downonwax, you probably use lemon juice, dont you? ha ha

It is not just acid,Yes it is a form of acid but there are all differant kinds you can get depending on the water ph i would get some that starts with a ph from 5.0 this will cover all your growing needs.But i do have ph testing kit that starts from 4.0.tell the guy where you are getting the kit from you want one that starts at 5.0 upwards.
