Help pllease! Drying!

Okay so im on my 5th day of drying, at the ends of all the buds theyre going very dry almost crumbly, whilst the other matter is still wet and deffo not dry yet, the stems for the buds arent exactly snapping yet either. My question is should i wait for the snapping and not worry about the dryness of the tips right now? It just seems as though the lower popcorn buds arent going to be dry at the same time the bigger nugs are. What should i do?

More should i say, everything towards the top end of the plant ( the big bud end) the end of the big buds are very dry

I want to point out that the popcorn buds are drying slower than the bigger buds, to what it seems anyway, and the stems of the buds that are connected to the main stem are not cracking yet

But its not explaining the fact that the bigger buds on the ends are drying on the tips faster than popcorn bud mr actuosit.

Bigger buds dry slower because they're bigger, the tips dry out during the drying process and are evenly moist during the curing process, the popcorn buds dry super quick and you trim those off to cure as needed.

Take a towel, hand towel and wash cloth, fold them in half make sure they're nice and soaked, open them up and lay them flat. Watch the drying process, you'll notice the edges dry first then the center.

right the point of the video, if you watch it in it entirety and not the first 30 seconds. it explains, he also states they arnt using 100% dry buds, but essentially the curing process he's explaining takes the semi dry buds and turns them all into evenly dry buds.

If you are drying with all the buds still attached to the main stalk then it takes longer.
If you chop the side branches off and hang individual cola stems then the buds dry faster.
Actuosity makes a good point about curing.
Once you put them in glass they will redistribute the moisture that's left.

More stalk = more moisture = longer dry time.

Did you hang near a wall? Do you have a fan that swings towards/near your harvest?

No im in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent and have a very small usb desktop fan just blowing a very slight breeze, i was using a clip on desktop fan which was a bit stronger so went with a downsize, also the plants are hanging in the middle towards the top of the tent and the small fan is at the very bottom of the tent.
Also i have the extractor on every 40 mins for 20 minutes just to re exchange the air thays in there at each point.

What is the RH and temp? Ideally should be 50-60% and 70 degrees or cooler like 65. I hook a humidifier and the exhaust fan to an inkbird RH controller.

You might have more air movement near the drier areas, the same shit used to happen to me because i dried in a tight room with a fan swinging towards it, not even direct air.

If the area is small enough or you are near a wall, it doesn't take much to create breezy pockets in random areas of your harvest and since most of us use a fan down low and a upside down hanging plant up high, the top colas are likely to get effected first.

So should i sbip these first or just let the rest of the plant go a bit drier, then start the cure process of so called "wicking"
