great site guys, been browsing for bout a month.

i got a plant that is starting to yellow on the lower leaves and i dont want to lose it so any help to solve the problem is much appreciated.

had the seedling on my window sill for 1-2 months, over watered it to every day, thus i stunted the grow but that aint my issuse.

then last week put it in the closet with a 18w campact fluro about 2 inch's from the plant, on for 24hrs each day for a week. started watering every 3 days. i do not use 'nutes' at all. there are no lil bugs/mites on the leaves. i dont have a fan and dont have any real venting, i open the closet door once a day to check on it.

i'm only growing 1 plant so it cant be not it enuff ventilation ?

i have another failed plant in they same pot, thought i lost the seed wen the pot tipped over so i planted another seed which is the plant in the pics , the failed plant is bout 1cm with 4 round leaves.

no chance that cud be affecting it?

thanks :weed:

What kind of soil are you using?
What's the temp and humid?
Is the soil dry when you water it?

Venting is one of your problums. These plants need alot of fresh air to thrive

If your plant is over 1 month old you should be giving it a bit of nutes once a week or once every 2 weeks at least.

backyard garden soil, regular plants are growing in it,
not too cold not to hot at a guesstimate 60 degrees Fahrenheit
soil is just dry when watering

ok

1 - Backyard Soil is usaly mainly dirt and not soil
2 - The temp should be at 20C (70F)
3 - I would start to give it 1/8 to 1/4 plant food (20-20-20)

so a week later and their looking like this.
took them out into a well ventilated place for the most part of the week, now the closet has more venting and a fan

using nutes at N= 27 % P= 5.5 % K=9 % as stated on the back of the box so not calculated.

still getting worse, am i not using enough nutes?

its it seems like Nitrogen deficiency and maybe Phosphorous deficiency mixed in.

NITROGEN (N) Pale plants, red stems, smaller growth. Rapid yellowing of lower leaves progressing up the plant. Add any chemical fertilizer containing N. Treated plants recover in about a week.

PHOSPHORUS (P) Slow or stunted growth, red stems. Smaller leaves that are dark green. Lower leaves yellow and die. Add chemical fertilizer containing P. Affected leaves will not show recovery but new growth will apear normal.
stem is not red on the main stem
