Help!!! Problem after switching to LED !!!

Okay a bit about my set up 1.5x3x3 wooden grow box. 2 computer fan exhaust at top. 240 watt led. Temp. 87-90 F , light at about a foot from the canopy

okay so about a week ago I switched my plants from a 85watt cfl to a 240 watt led and my plants started to die and look like this ... Please if I got any ideas I'd be glad to hear.

your temp is way too high

Yeah get a fan for christ's sake. Even 87 is too hot. I keep mine at 75 during the day and 68-70 at night.

Drop your light closer

I got 100F(very hot climate 85F outside grow closet) and my grow (Cheese Candy auto, White Castle) look good no signs of any weakness,strong steam, perfect color,no strech and normal growth, only at 2nd week of flower tho.. but I have good ventilation.
IMO there is problem with the soil, maybe bad drainage/too much water/bad ventilation.

Fek man your nukein em. Those leds put out some serious power the first while theyre in use. These guys are fekin with ya, get them up high. I run a 240 myself and nuked some veggie starts when i first got it. At that size you could run that light if its anything like my htg 240w rectangular at about 2.5 feet and theyd be alright. Ive got plants almost 3 feet at 20" and they will burn at lower than eight inches. Those leds are not cfls nor are they floro tubes. Give em a little respect.

Thanks for all the advice. Guess I'm gona need to get a taller grow box because I pretty much have it as high as it can go. It could be that my soil is off too, but it was just too much coincidence that the problem started as soon as I switched, they were perfect before. I didn't think that havin the plant at a foots distance could harm the plant, I've read some people's comments saying that they could be inches from the light with no problems . Do you guys think an inline fan would solve the heat issue? My grow box is in a closet and the ambient temp in there is abt 80F. Any recommendations for soil use next time? And how often and what to feed?

Based on the last pic, I'd add some Cal-Mag as well as addressing light/temperature issues. How much/often are you watering?

I water probably 2x a week I check the soil with my finger to make sure it's dry enough to water again. I have them on some miracle grow flowering soil, and I've only fed them twice , some miracle grow tomato fertilizer. You think some cal mag would help? Sorry it's my first attempting growing and I hav a lot of questions lol

I would find something other than the miracle grow tomato fertilizer. I don't know what you have available to you but if you can get cal-mag then maybe you could get roots organic?
In the long run, take a look at the subcool organic section and you may want to go for a water-only grow next time (everything is already in the soil). There's a good book too - easy read and quite informative - True Living Organics by The Rev...which is particularly aimed at small container growing for our favorite plant.

It doesn't sound like you're over-watering, but you should probably read a little about nutrient recommendations for the plants during different stages of growth. There are lots of varying opinions, but just go for a general idea and give the plant what it needs based on your observations of the plant and your studying the effects of different types of deficiencies. The only way to really learn is by torturing a couple plants though, but you will have fewer problems if you do some research. Also, it would help a lot if you took a pic with natural light. It's very difficult to diagnose a plant under red LED light.

Hello I placed a temporary clear plastic wrap layer btwn the plants and led light(bs 240w) it has temporarily stopped the plants from getting worse. I noticed that when I placed the plants under cfl they pick themselves right up, as soon as they go back under led the begin to sag and dry

too close?

i'd raise the light as high as you can till that plants recover (don't spray them)
add another exhaust fan and maybe an intake fan and maybe a 3rd inside the box just blowing air around
