HELP!!!!Question about seedlings

I have a quick question about seedlings. I germinated my seeds in a papertowel and the cracked so i put them in soil like i always do. Its been 4 days in soil under a 150w HPS and they havent grown at all. In the past its only taken my seeds like 2 days to pop through the soil? I dug up some of them and they havent sprouted anymore than when i planted them. whats goin on. Another question is should i keep the soil moist or just let them sprout on there own the water them. HELP PLEASE

Yeah RIU PM'd me and said it was offensive but i dont think so. The seeds are only 2" below the soil. I just wondered because in the past i always just sprout them in the window then put them under lights

2" seems deep to me, I was told, to put them in only 1/4" deep and to keep them out of the light at about 75 degrees.

Yeah i dug them all up just to see what was goin on. I got 4 out of 21 actually going the other ones are just barley cracked just like when they were when i planted them. so i put them all at 1/4" and well see what happens. There just bagseeds anyway.

1/4 In Is Good......i Rem. Hearing Somthing About 2x The Depth Of The Length Of The Seed....if That Makes Any Sense...??dbb.
