***HELP***quick question: Will two 135W equivalent CFL bulbs on one plant be enough??

My Blueberry Gum plant is 12 days old (including germinating), already grew two sets of leaves and is now going to the third set. I have been using a 60w fluorescent bulb until today, when I got the two 135W equiv CFLs (30W uses only). I was wondering if this will be enough for one plant throughout the rest of the time until I harvest it. It is only for personal use, and I will be happy if it had over 10 grams of smokable weed. I place the light 1-2 inches away from the plant to get the maximum amount of light, so I guess this will help a bit. I will be adding nutes in a week or two because the soil already has nutrients in it and I don't want to overfeed the baby plant.

What do you guys think? Constructive comments please!

you will not likely get 10 grams from that prob like 7...even if you do get 10-14 grams due to vegging the plant some what large..it will be airy and subpar bud get yourself a 150-200 watt hps man...and get 2 true 100 watt daylight cfls for veg then throw the big light on for flowering...without doing this your really wasting your time or just having a learning experience with really no benefit, it takes a killer cfl only grower to be able to come out with anything better..imo

for a while though that light is enough...and the soil will feed without adding anything until it is around 8 inches tall

Would only use Hps/mh as a main light use the cfls as a we bit extra u only want 10g, why aim so low grab yourself a Hps and aim for 4oz you might aswel if you can afford to buy a Hps. My advice instead of using soil use coco in my experience its just as easy but better results. I would always give them nutrients even if just slight with a root conditioner try and get that baby pumped out of it's mind on everything, without over doing it lol.

Trust me bro HPS FTW i used to only use cfl, but after my first harvest i was very dissatisfied with my outcome, and in the long run hps and mh are better as long as you dont have heat problems.

if you are going to stick with those bulbs, you might want to read up on LST
this is training the plant to grow around the edge of the pot, and keeps the buds close to the cfl's, which is what you will need to get a respectable yield

Thanks for the replies guys. I just ordered two 400 watt hps, probably only going to use one 'cause it's strong enough for one plant

my first grow i used 4 -6500 Lumes for vegging and then 6 -2700 for flowering i think they were both around hte 100w range.. .worked well ..one plant.. got over 4 ounces of bud. i have tons of pics on here if you wanna see

i started the 12/12 when it was about a foot and a half (veg) when it was said and done it was about 2.5-3 feet tall

HPS gets super hot.. unless you have the set up for it.. don't do it.. CFL's work well you just need alot of them and they don't heat up as long as you have a fan blowing on it.

You need 5000-8000 lumens per square foot. Each of those lights contains 2700 lumens, will will probably loose around 700-1000 lumens in reflection, so yeah nooo... Not even if you threw in that other fluorescent bulb would it be enough. You would get a much better harvest if you stuck it outside right now, check to see when the sun rises and sets and as long as you are getting at least 14 hours of light you will have a decent yield. Maybe 1-3 ounces depending on your plant. EVEN IF THE LIGHT WAS 12/12 where you live and it is 40 degrees at night, your plant will do better outside then it would under those weak cfls. Go buy a 150 watt cfl that is made for PLANTS not for your houses light bulb socket. (500 watt equivalent) you get about 12000 lumens. Which is enough to get around 1-2 ounces. You could even get like 4 auto flowers and you will get around 1-4 ounces each harvest. (DRY NOT WET)

These CFLS are sold online for 59.99 and they come with a reflecting hood and everything you need to set it up. Then use the CFL's you already have to cover the weaker areas where the light is not getting too. If you did this and you had 3-4 auto flowers you could easily get 3 ounces dry... With all those CFL's you will have around 15000 lumens. So just make sure you have 5000-8000 lumens per square foot (clfs dont really give off light more than 3-9 inches, after that it is mostly red light that is getting through. With CFL's your best bet is to go with auto flowering strains, they only need 2 gallon buckets each so they are cheap and you plant the seeds right into the 2 gallon buckets so you dont have any transplanting stress which would slow the plants grow down for a few days. This is bad because transplanting will stunt growth and these plants life is only 60-80 days from seed to harvest, which makes them awesome if you wanna get quick bud! most true auto flowers flower under 24 hour of light but all experts say you get a better harvest with 18/6.

Auto flowers are the best when you already have some regular non auto flowering females, and you want to get an early harvest so you throw in a few auto flowers to fill the spaces because you can fit a lot more in because they are so small.

Hope this helped!

SERIOUSLY THOUGH JUST BUY A 400 WATT HPS off amazon they are 129.99 and they come with a reflecting hood, ballast, hps bulb, MH bulb, and cords. !!!!!
