What Should i do? what i was gonna do is ph 7.0 my water and flush is this a bad idea? after i flush i am gonna water with half strength nutes and 1 tablespoon molasses and PH 6.7 any suggestions before i do this??
Help! Soil PH too acidic 4th week flowering.

adding wood ash helps bring down acidity in soil..

Are you sure though? I dont trust soil ph meters. Are your plants showing any problems? Best way to measure is to measure the runoff after watering. That is if you are getting any runoff? If you are not then you are going to get a buid up in the bottom. Personally I would avoid flushing - only use as a last resort. Just water when the plants next need it using your normal nute schedule and make sure you give it a damn good watering (runoff) at ph 6.5 - 6.7

im in the process of flushing now with PH'd water to 7.0 doing 4 cups every 5 minutes waiting for run off then will be watering with nutes and molasses PH'd at 6.7

add DOLOMITE LIME.
it will neutralize and balance your ph.
watering with ph'd water will only make the problem slow down,
dolomite lime will fix the problem entirely.
add 1 cup per cubic foot of dirt.
edit: or crushed oyster shell, both work.

just put it on top of the soil i guess or in water

Loosen the top 1-2 inches of soil, mix in the lime at the recommended dosage and then water it in. Should do the trick. If you are using the same soil next time you should try adding it to the soil mix so as not to run into this problem again.

do u mean the soil has peat and lime in it? peat makes it acidic, and dolomite makes it more basic. so if the soil just has peat(like mine did), u need to add dolomite lime to cancel it out

yeah i had the MG soil and never added dolomite lime and it was way too acidic, but i added the lime today waitin now to see the results within the next week or so

The problem has stopped spreading the lime worked wonders so far, ill be keeping an eye out and let you all know if any changes!!!
wait till she dries out before you do the nuted. from the pics i would flush with Cal Mag only

I'd keep the soil well moist from here on out. Don't let it dry. Many problems come from letting the soil dry and flushing to correct problems contrary to popular beliefs. I use MG too for outdoors without added dolomite.
