serously? wer do u buy lady bugs? i mean its not the lady bug time of yr now issit?
I found this website: http://www.hydroasis.com/

They're prices are pretty good and they seem to have a wide variety of predators for various things including the spider mite destroyers that I'm anxious to try. The predator mites are pretty cheap and you get three different species. 1000 predator mites are only $25 or so.

lady bugs, good luck with that. two simple words, mighty wash. this thread goes on and on with idea after idea when there is only one solution.
I don't believe that there is only one solution to this problem, or most problems for that matter. My philosophy is, the more ideas the better. If the Mighty Wash works then hey, terrific, problem solved! But it never hurts to have other options or ideas on the table because no one thing works perfectly for everyone across the board - particularly where spider mites are concerned. They are such an insidious and tenacious insect that I think multiple simultaneous and disparate methods are preferable. That being said, I am rooting vigorously for the Mighty Wash to be the answer. You and several others have had great success with it so hopefully I will as well. But even if I do, and it eradicates my problem, I will still employ other methods alongside it just for redundancy and efficiency. Every method has strengths and weaknesses, but the idea is that where one method may be lacking, another may pick up the slack. You gotta attack these little bastards on multiple fronts simultaneously, and that is what I plan to do.

To insist that there is only one solution to the problem is ridiculous. I cannot wash my plants and rinse them off as I am growing in my basement and live in a cold climate where carrying my plants up the stairs and outside is not practical most of the year. Redundancy is the key to beating this particular pest. Never let your guard down and never think you have beaten them. This time of year is the worst for pest invasions where I live.

Liquid lady bug killss them off but they keep coming back. I must have millions. I've cleaned and disinfected everything. But its going to pretty much be like this till harvest im a week away from flushing. 3 more weeks. And I myself live in a very bad spot for pest this time of year. Lol the webs make mine look 15like years old. That being said imma try mighty wash since everyone is saying its one of the best solutions.
