Help us with our first grow! (Pics!)

Whats up everybody!

First time growing indoors with a hydroponics system. we're using a tek-5 8 bulb 48'' w/ 4 red and 4 blue bulbs. We decided to build our own drip system for this vegetative room. Our plants are about 16 inches from the light and get watered 3 times a day for about 15 minuets. We're using the florogrow nutrient system (micro, grow, bloom) in a 20 gallon resivour we have about 10 gallons filled inside. We mixed in the proper amounts according to the back of the bottles. These plants are about 3-4 weeks old. Notice in the pictues brown spots on the leafs and discoloration on some plants. We want to know what you guys think we could be doing better. The room is covered in mylar with fans that turn on if the temp goes over 84 degrees. We have a box fan on medium about 4 foot away from the plants. Its about 78 in the room constantly. We check PH daily and make sure its between 5.6-6.3 and keep adding distilled water to our 10 gallon line daily. Our system doesnt drain water amazingly.

we started them with no nutrients for two full weeks, then we added in 1/4 tsp for each gallon, that is what the bottle said for seedlings. general hydroponics 3 step system (florogrow)

If you mixed them accordingly and they are yellowing than you prob need oxygen. Maybe swith to dwc. My plants are 11 days old.good luck man. this setup is 30 bucks. I swear these plants are 11 days old today.

I am using the same exact lighting of a dif brand. put that light 1 inch from the plants like in my pic. good luck man and thats a sweet light

what kind of fertilizer you use? does it good consortium of micro nutrients as well? definitely a nutrient disorder: http://www.weedfarmer.com/cannabis/nutrientdisorders_guide.php

possibly a deficiency will probably go away, they will turn around and be a nice healthy green in no time.

Sorry man. the hydro setup was 30 bucks. the lights were actually 30 bucks each with your choice of bulb though. i'm adding 4 3000k next week. They are 54 watt t5hos. 432 watts right? I know which light you have i have one over one of my aquariums. slim black design right. But the hydro setup was under 30. sorry

We're currently flushing out the plants this weekend leaving them on PH adjusted distilled water. Pics will be updated in the middle to end of the week.

If you added the nutes the way you said they should have handled it and really took off. You are fertilizing a weed! It should grow fast. I think the way you described feeding sounds fine. You may need to get some extra Oxygen in there. but flushing is safe anyways. If you drip them from higher more oxygen could absorb also. I've never gotten into the drip. Good luck man.
