HELP! what am i doing wrong i need help diagnosing

I'm a beginning grower and im lost, my plants have not been fed except what is in the soil. I used mircle grow 6 month feed, yes I realized shortly after that was a bad move. I have sense transplanted them into much better local made soil with composted forest products, composted arbor fines, composted chicken manure, iron sulfate, worm castings, dolomite lime, ouyster shell lime, bat guano and kelp meal. Now I'm not sure what was in the "miracle NO" soil, my plants At first i had them out in the open behind my chair with a reflected CFL light now they are in a tent with a 300 watt LED on them 78 degrees and 60 humidity. I have not fed my plants anything but I am seeing small nute burns make there way all over the leafs and one plant that shows less nute burns the leafs are getting a purple to black color on It, They are about both about 2 months old and way to small. I can't get the nute burns to stop from spreading and also some leafs show nitrogen toxcity i think tips curl down and there darker green and my stems seems to be turning dark purple will this destroy everything? My plants don't seem happy :( Please help me to get to first harvest, i can upload any further pictures anyone may need to help

Slow growth and purple stems is often an indication of a phosphorus deficiency or lockout. I believe that too much calcium can lock it out so maybe too much oyster shell and lime in your mix? Just speculating. I'm not seeing a nutrient burn but agree they could be a little over watered, maybe just watered.

i just watered them, my soil has been staying a little to moist and having a hard time fully drying out, i just recently tested my Ph with a lushleaf rapitest 1216 soil tested and it tested alkaline so i added small amounts of sulfur element and mixed it pretty well into the soil. iv drastically reduced the amount of water i gave them about 2 weeks ago, but like i said my soil has had a hard time fully drying out and the temp is at 80 humidity is at 58% now, but i have suspected over watering is the reason why my leafs are slightly wilted most of the time. i posted a closer pic of what i think is nutrient burn many of leafs show this and some new growth on my most stressed plant has marks showing up as well. and will it pull through a phosphurus defficiancy untill i can start feeding it fish emulsion witch is 5-1-1 1/2 teaspoon in a gallon of water witch is half the recommended amount. thank you so much for the help its been much needed

That really doesn't look like a nute burn to me, and I've had a few! I think you have a P deficiency, which is phosphorous, not potassium. P is the second number in your NPK so a 5-1-1 may not be enough. Bone meal and soft rock phosphate are both good sources of P, but I'm not sure which one can be received more quickly so you might have to do a little research or get more opinions. I do think she can still recover if this is not a lockout issue.

i meant phosphorus when i said potassium :P how hard would it be to mix in the bone meal or soft rock phosphate to my soil the plants are currently in or should i transplant them into the soil after i mix it in? and could this also be why my leafs are devoloping a dark purple color?

Purple can be genetic but I think in your case it is a deficiency. I think your plant is too small to transplant, I doubt the roots have filled the current pot. You'll want to look at top dressing solutions. Can't hurt to get some product and follow the directions. Sorry, I put mine in months before I use the soil so I'm not experienced in correcting this deficiency. If you are not tied down to an organic solution there may be easier solutions. I know some tomato growers that use a triple phosphate water soluble product. I would try bumping the phosphate once and then going to a more balanced product like a 5-5-5 or 10-10-10 for future feedings.

BTW, you would be smart not to take anything you get here at face value. Get some ideas here and then do your own independent research because you have to live with the results, we don't.

iv been doing a lot of research but you have helped a lot and i think i can figure it out :) thank you very much for your information and i have learned some "dont do's" with for my next grow. i will find a good organic treatment and see if it progresses.

my leafs that i have trimmed off have been similar to other pictures i have seen with phosphorus deficiency, iv read how i could even be getting the deficiency because of my early watering the soil being to compact and to wet and also i could of been getting it because my Ph is to high in my soil and hopefully the sulfur i added will drop my Ph to a proper level for the nutrients. they have only been in the tent and under that light for 5 days now should i wait to feed them nutrients like you say until the roots grow into the new soil to see if the get any better? because there are a lot of things already in my soil that are high in phosphorus like bat guano and chicken manure compost and i wouldn't wanna give it to much phosphorus right? or should i still try and treat it with fertz high in P

Sorry Blunt, I guess I didn't read carefully enough the first time. Yes, a high ph would also lockout P so getting that in check would be the place to start!

awesome i hope i put it in check ill see if i have progress and go from there, would you know any remedies for to high Ph in soil to correct the problem faster then sulfur will, iv heard watering the plants with old coffee that has been diluted 50% with water because of acidic properties in coffee, but haven't followed up on where i heard it

Sorry, my ph issues have always been low ph. I think phosphoric acid also gets used but I don't know how it compares to sulfur.
