Well Jake, I'm not sure where to start other than for you to start over.
Do some reading in RIU first.
I would think you're over watering first off.
When my plants start to pre-flower they are around 24" high and 20 times as many leafs.

They need more nutrients then ba guano. That's good for phosphorous. You should also get some blood meal for nitrogen and kelp meal for potassium. Then I can suggest some calmag aswell.

thats alotta gnats, you should invest in some biological deterrent like bacillus thuringensis. read up on it itll help you out a bunch with the bugs. you might want to look into some better soil as well. oh and stop watering them so much, maybe once every three days. if you have some more seeds you might want to start over. not trying to talk ish just might be better to start fresh then trying to save these. good luck with the grow.

Use pyrethrin on those gnats it will kill them. Damn there is a lot. They feed on your roots so u need to do something ASAP.

All those gnats are from over watering. The soil on the top should be able to dry out.
Dry soil will kill the gnat larvae.
Maybe you could replace the top layer of soil but those plants are pretty beat.

Yea i have 2 seeds my friend found in his purp i just put them to veg. im going to do it right with them. should I try to 12/12 for my current ones? just to see what happens? and all of the advice is appreciated. im taking before and afters. 1st grow compared to second. i think im gonna go with hydroponic for my 3rd grow

yea you can flip them to 12/12 to get some experience and learn. but make sure you get that gnat problem under control or else every pot you put in the same room with these two will also have gnat problems.

Agreed with the above - Let the soil dry out until top 2-3 inches are -mostly- dry... then 1:4 ratio of 3% hydrogen peroxide to water...soil drench to destroy the larvae... cinnamon oil foliar asap....keep the fly strips up ... read, read, read again....keep reading. Very well may not make it, but you can try. Attention is needed, definitely neglected on multiple levels. Without learning the basics before you start.. it will be very rough. If you can't make time a couple times a day to check on it, don't bother planting it.

Im a newb but sometimes i have some good ideas, so heres mine...looks like your soil is total garbage. The most important thing with new girls is what theyre growing in. Buy some good soil, fox farm ocean forest is what i use, happy frog is really good too. What youve got threre with all those wood chips and chunks of shit is not doing you any good. Also when you buy new soil which you should. Buy some pearlite. A decent sized bag is around 7 bucks. It aids in drainage. I mix in 10-15 % pearlite with my soil. Another thing i use is mycorizzae http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mycorrhiza This crap builds good dirt and helps with transplant.
So thats what i think you should spend your money on. Dirt.
as for help for you. As mentioned before it apears you are making the most common rookie mistake. Overwatering. Over and under watering produce close to the same effect. Droopy leaves. If your new and your plants not doing well id assume you thought you could fix it by watering more right? Even if your plant appears to not be growing you still need to abide by the watering rules. Do not water until the container feels hollow. Its probly wet right now so pick it up. Feel the weight, then let it dry out and feel it again. Therell be a big difference, also poke your finger into the soil. If you can feel a dampness in the soil then your ok for a while, almost dry and its time to water...this is the most common rookie mistake so dont feel bad.
Ok so good organic dirt and pearlite in hand (mycorizzae isnt vital but it helps) mix some up and repot. Try and get rid of most of whats there without destroying the roots. Good organic soil should have everything you need to get you to your next paycheck. Then go buy some base nutes that have a grow and a bloom part. Then you will be getting ballanced NPK values for your plants needs. With good soil you wont need them right away, remember that. Theres already alot of nitrogen in good soil like ffof or happy frog. More in ffof though.
So youve transplanted (well done by the way) and youve corrected your watering approch. Now they will start to bush out if they dont have root rot already from over watering. Transplant will help though, so will bennies like myco. Then after a couple of weeks start feeding them at low strength nutes, 1/4 dose and gradually increase as the plant grows. Usually you wont have to hit the max dose, you should stay under full strength. But after she starts bushing out, and she will dont worry, top it a couple times and the lower side branches will try to become the top branches making a plant with a flatter canopy rather than a christmas tree looking plant. Dont pound them with bat crap cause theres nothing else in it besides P and thats not good to just pound one thing.
Other essentials, ppm meter, cheap ones are fine as long as they work
calmag
base nutes
syringe for measuring liquid nutes in mls. 50 ml syringe works great.
rolling papers (for smoking all the meds you harvest)
If yur broke and dont feel like transplanting just make sure you let it dry out between waters and get a 6 dollar box of miracle grow to use sparingly on it. Good luck man, i just did a crop dance for ya. :):):)
Edit- i forgot to say that over watering stunts growth bad, thats why they aint going anywhere.

Yikes.. get them in some 'real' soil.. that stuff looks like you grabbed it out of the plant beds of an apt complex (no offense)..

Start there.. get real soil. Get them stable, bend them over and tie them down, new growth will be vigorous and plenty,

That's what I would do.. get rid of the traps, glean the room, maybe put up a fresh trap.. get them in a new soil.. water lightly with a bit of h202 in the water.. BANG>. Watch my watering for awhile.. not too much.. ZERO nutes because of new soil and they need to heal for awhile.

Tie em down, you could save em and have 1/4 lb plants if you do it right.. I've nurtured worse.

But get new soil.. did I mention that? :)
