Can anyone tell me what's going on here? I use R/O 0ppm
Connessuier a+b
Voodoo juice
Bud ignitor
B-52
Big bud
Bud candy
Nirvana
Sensizym
Rhino skin
Bud factor X
All have been used since the beginning of bloom (as suggested on bottle) and this plant is currently at day 21.
Grown in 5gal buckets (with plenty of holes drilled in them 50+ each) with pro-mix HP top fed with 1 quart nute solution a day.

This is the third time I've grown this strain. The first time they made it to about day 50 before any sign of burn or deficiency then they started to spot and turn yellow (from the top). At that same time summer was just starting to hit and my room was warmer than I wanted and I just attributed everything to that.

Second time growing the strain temps were way too high and humidity got out of control due to me not wanting to run my ac to help keep my electric bill down. Every strain I had was burnt and spotted with yellow leaves at this point.

Somewhere between the first and second grow of this strain I added a few more additives to my line up and sorry I'm not exactly sure which ones at this point but it was the rest of the additives I didn't have.

After the second grow I decided to turn the ac back on and the room has been holding steady at 78.

Now that I'm having these problems in my 3rd grow with this strain I've come to realize that all those additives probably aren't necessary and I've dropped my concentrations to half only using base a+b, big bud, b-52, bud candy, and rhino skin.

About a week ago I quit feeding this strain any nute solution in fear that they're in a lock out and just started feeding RO water. Half a gallon once a day but I'm still seeing the progression of the brown spots and "burn". HELP!

I also have blue kush, critical cure cbd, and a no name purp strain with a STRONG blueberry smell and taste that are still being fed the 1/2 concentrate nute solution and they're loving it with no signs of any burn or deficiency.

Sorry for all the detail and rambling but I wanted to be as specific as possible so I can get the best diagnosis possible.

Are you running all the additives too? At full potency? My last batch was brown and burned all the way in, I just wrote it off as a heat problem but I'm really starting to think it was a lockout now.

what ph range are you using? Ca needs at least 6.2 to be absorbed. if you're staying at 6.0 or under you are locking out Ca, bounce down to 5.8 for one watering, then 6.0 for a couple, then 6.3 for one or two, then back to 6.0...

Could very well be the problem because I'm using ph perfect I don't ever adjust it from 5.8. pro-mix is considered soilless so I figured hydro ph would apply

I think the problem might be that you have only purchased 10 of the 25 products AN sells.
The AN site states you must buy them all if you truly want to be a master grower.

what are they gonna tell you? just buy the important parts and ignore the useless shit we're selling for 1000 times what its worth? any product line with 25 items is selling you at least 13 bottles of bullshit with different dye and perfume in it

Looks like the beginnings of toxic salts buildup.

Too many nutes and high temps will do it every time with any nutes. The plants are sucking up a lot more water at higher temps and pulling up more salts than they really need which causes them to build up in the older leaves first. This dehydrates the leaves and they go all brown and crispy. It will progress as time goes on while conditions remain the same. Nasty toking buds will be the end product.

I've been using AN nutes for 15 years and other than the base nutes I only use Rhino Skin, Big Bud and a wee bit of CalMag once in a while. I just bought 3 1-gal jugs of the 3-part after using Sensi and Connie for the last couple years. I want to be able to limit the amount of N they get after stretch and I cant really do that with the 2-part nutes. With the 3 part I can cut out the Grow nutes and just use the Micro and Bloom with the Big Bud. 1 part Micro to 2 parts Bloom Going with the Lucas Formula after stretch should help prevent the crispy leaves. I grow a lot in ProMix but DWC is my fave method.

You need to run much lower ppm levels when the temps are high to keep the buildup from happening. You should try a good flush to get all the old salts out of the root zone and follow immediately with a good watering of 1/4 strength. Cut out almost all the supplements you have, way too many in my opinion, and just use a bit of Big Bud for one last time as it should be cut off by week 5 or 6. Go easier on the supplements for the next batch.

Watering with a quart/day is not the proper way to water pot plants. The pot should be saturated when watering then allowed to dry out just before the plants start drooping before the next watering. You are likely only watering the top 1/4 of each pot with the way you're doing it now. Feel the weight of the pots when soaked then how it feels dry to get the feel for when to water. A large plant can easily drink over a quart/day on it's own.

Plain water then nute water, plain water again then nute water. Works great for me in ProMix. Either alternate feedings or feed at much lower levels each watering. And don't go with the full strength recommended on the bottles.

I love AN nutes but just can't get behind their insistence of paying thru the nose for a lot of stuff that might get you an extra 10 or 15% yield if you have the experience to actually use all that stuff without overdosing your plants. Many of the supplements have much the same ingredients so it's not hard to OD your plants.

Good luck and good growing!

:peace:
