Help with buying seeds in the US/Illinois

this gentlemen has seeds and clones in Addison Il. I have also purchased from ILGM and shipped into Illinois with no problems. They guarantee their seeds and I can say they stand behind the guarantee. Typically they do buy 10 get 10 free and my first order none of them would germinate so they sent me 20 new ones and 3 out 3 germinated so far.

Yes, at least 6 seeds. Yes, I've ordered from from Cannarado before. I have grown his Grape Gelee and Biscotti Cakes, and am currently running his Lemonessence. Last Sunday I ordered this...

Yes. I just add a note saying "Enclosed is $xxx for order #yyyyy.", fold the note in thirds, put the money in the note. Then send it in a priority mail flat rate envelope, which comes with tracking. (You do not want to have anyone sign for it.) Then I email whoever I bought the seeds from, letting them know the tracking number for my order number.

Hopefully someone else will come in on how they send in their cash.

Only thing different id recommend is just buying small manilla envelopes from target or Walmart instead of flat rate envelopes.

The plain manilla envelopes cost roughly $4.20 for priority w/tracking. Flat rates are $8+

yea I just spent $7.75 but I thought that was for the service regardless of the envelope
The flat rate envelope and boxes you can cram with anything, weight wise, no additional charge with priority.

But if you use youre own envelope or box you're charged by weight and size.

If you're sending something heavy it pays to use the post office's box.

No, youll be fine. I first ordered seeds from Canada back in 2002 to just outside Chicago area and continued ordering seeds till I moved out of state in 2015. Never had an issue.
my order was supposed to arrive today, now it stopped showing a date and just saying
Your item arrived at our CHICAGO IL INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER destination facility on October 26, 2020 at 5:13 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

and it was shipped domestically

You should be good, mail is slow lately. Last 3 packages I got were a day or two late.

Buying seeds, which contain no thc, is completely legal. I find that there are a lot of misconceptions but look on Amazon you can but then by the pound.

I think keeping the illegal perception may help to keep the price a bit higher? I’m certainly not saying that there isn’t a lot of work involved with breeding just wondering.

There is no difference in hemp seeds and Cannabis seeds. And hemp seeds are legal. No thc.
they are the same species that is true. but there is actually a big difference between hemp & cannabis seeds.

to be considered hemp, thc levels of the seed's finished/dried product have to be less than 0.3%.

growing hemp seeds/smoking hemp will not get you high. it has been bred to have no thc.

growing cannabis seeds will grow flowers that get you high. really high hopefully. it has been bred many times to create beautiful, potent cannabis
