Hey all

I recently purchased these four cuttings advertised as T. Peruvianus'. I'm new to cacti, but I'm pretty sure they are of the trich variety.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a bunch

I received an ID from my friends @ Mycotopia that it is a Pachanoi (San Pedro) KK339, but just for a second opinion I was wondering what the fellows @ RIU thought : )

Thanks all

look pedro to me but ive read somewere that most sold are a hybrids

here is what it says on wiki about torch hybrids

Variant
A short-spined variant which is nearly identical in appearance to its relative, Echinopsis pachanoi (San Pedro cactus), is known. It is therefore possible that many misidentified plants are being sold (both as Peruvian Torch and as San Pedro), but since local variations as well as hybrids do exist (both cultivated and natural), this will obviously make proper identification difficult.

Hehe diggin up some oldies eh? They were indeed Pedros to the best of my knowledge and the opinions of others.

I ended up rooting them out for a month or so and harvesting. They procured a very nice experience, but not as powerful as I had hoped. The remaining cuttings have now pupped very nicely. One even has three new pups :D

I'm more late and tardy then the kids on the "breakfast club" but those look like pach's... I bet you have those safely nested already... basking in the sun's shallow shade :)

For decoration and for mind splendor! Once intoxicated by her you can stare in awe of the cactus, and recognize yes it sure is a decoration of sorts...
