before I got a co2 monitor I used to have my co2 TANK come on every hour for 15 mins but those have regulators on them so you kinda know how much your giving them. I would recommend once every hour for 15 mins.. Also depends on how good your tent is sealed up

its the new secret jardin drs 150 seems to be quite air tight the negative pressure of the tent seems to be very good at the moment i ave it so it comes on 2 hours after lights on for 15 mins every hour and then turns off 2 hours before lights out is this ok?

I think that all of the passive generators or devices that produce through fermentation are always active, the pump simply pushes it out of the container. So I believe you want the pump to run the entire time your lights are on. I don't know if these genereate enough co2 to support a sealed system of much size. I have heard that they can't maintain much level over time. Are there no instructions with this?

If u really want to use that crap then do it in flowering(when you actually see the flowers!). The size of grow area you stated is too small for 10 plants. Ethier reduce plants or flower early or the plants will get too bushy which means less light penetration which leads to less yield and you just wasted veg nutes LOL! Keep note to plan ahead when space is limited.

If you want to use co2, go hard or go home. I've tried fermentation on two 55 gallon drums, dry ice, boosters but nothing compares to using tanks or generator. Tanks and generator are the ones that can actually pump enough co2 for the plants because they eat alot and even more when they get bigger. Invest on a bigger area/tent.

'...go hard or go home' best advice I have seen on this subject!

All in good fun bro, my son is a Libertarian too. I keep telling him that 'individualism' only woks after you have received socialism from your mother, family, community, country etc, which renders the doctrine a sham, since you do not get born at age 24 ready to go. No more then a bunch of selfish children in mans clothing not wanting to share. Stoners may have heir own reasons for their so called 'Libertarian' persuasions ;)
I'm assuming you are open for these conversations since you promote your political views in your avatar and sig.

Co2 is better to use in flower it really wont do anything in vegetative grow. Run your Co2 at "lights on" the plants wont use co2 in the dark. I use a Co2 tank , regulator hooked up to a Atlas controller that is light sensitive which means Co2 comes on when the lights come on. 1500 PPM. My 25 lb tank only lasts a week @ 1500 I can get 2 weeks out of it if I go 1200 PPM.

Or go sealed room and the tank will last you 4-5 weeks. I would not use co2 during veg either if I blew trough a tank in a week. But you assertion that it does not do anything during veg is factually wrong. There is plenty of research on this, people just need to google...

My room is sealed. A 25 Lb tank lasts you 4-5 weeks ???? Thats crazy I dont know a grower who can get that kind of longevity out of a 25 lb tank. I have used co2 in veg it really didnt do anything to my harvest and wasnt worth the investment. It may do certain things in veg but not enough to make me use it.

Thats about what I get. To hear someone say they get 4-5 weeks is kind of unbelievable in my opinion. I mean I know I lose some when I enter the grow room or do a res change I'm opening and closing the door constantly or when I have to refill my tank. I dont mind it because opening and closing the door is bringing in some fresh air. I know my area is pretty sealed up my 1000W HPS is in a sealed hood and I cool it by pulling cool air from another room and it goes straight into the attic.
