Help with first time grow please..

Hello all,

First time grower here looking for a bit of advice. I've searched the forums already and had some questions answered, but theres a few i couldn't find answers to so i'll ask em here.. hopefully someone will be kind enough to help.
I'm planning on growing 1 plant, a Feminized Pyramid Northern lights. My setup at present is pretty basic, but hoping to learn how to do this and buy better equipment when I can (I'm a skint student so this is all I can afford for now unfortunately )

First off my setup is:
125w dual spectrum cfl (with timer)
computer fan
BioBizz all mix soil
Bio Bizz Bio Gro & Bio Bloom
1 plastic party cup for germinating and seeding, and 1 plant pot measuring 19cm diameter, and 17cm high.
Cabinet to grow in, inside painted white measuring 40cm width & depth, 100cm high.

-I have read that planting the germinated seed straight into Bio Bizz all mix can kill the seedlings, as it already has some food in it? Should I plant the seedling into plain compost, if so, how long for before I transfer it into the big pot with Bio Bizz all mix in?

-I have also read, you can leave the seed in vegetative stage without any food using All Mix, is this true? And if so, how do I know when its time to turn the lights to 12/12 for the flowering stage, and what sort of food/how much should I be using during flowering?

your plant wont need any food as a seedling,you want to wait till you see pre-flowers or alternating nodes before you start flowering,i tranfer my seedlings when the leaf tips reach out to the rim of the cup too good luck man

I know that you shouldn't feed the seedlings, but can you plant the germinated seeds straight into Bio bizz all mix? (Full question is above for anybody who has experience with Bio Bizz All Mix..)

none n that but heres an idea for a grow shack.im about to paint the insides flat white

i would add some perlite to it

you can just use any organic soil at a garden center to start in. dont feed till later. when to flower is up to you, sounds like you have space limitations, so you are going to want to flower sooner than later maybe 3 weeks-4 weeks in,... maybe try out an autoflower.
you said your cabnit is a meter high, so when you put your light in there how much room is left? then you have your pot which is taking more room, that leaves you with really no room to grow properly.

i veg'd mine for 2 months, i am a week out from turning the lights completly out for the last 48 hrs, then i cut her down... the girls are 5 1/2 - 6 feet tall..... i dont use any nutes, just supersoil, subcools 2010 recipe. all i do is water and wait......

I'd be interested to know this too, I just planted some germinated seeds into Happy Frog soil mix and was told that it may be too rich for them. I don't see why, I feel like the plant would have to be able to grow in rich soil if it were to survive outdoors. Please let us know what you find out, if it isn't answered here!

I've used biobizz allmix a few times wiv seedlings,no problems at all,no nutes for 3/4weeks tho,then start quarter strength nutes

I start mine in fox farms lightning warrior then transplant to ocean forest. The ocean forest is good for the first 3 weeks then I add nutes
