Help with lighting controll

As long as your ballast for the 1000watt light does not exceed the amperage of the controller, you should be fine. If the light ballast puts out too much amperage you WILL run the risk of an electrical fire...or worse Good Luck

Well its im looking to buy them on ebay and they are saying the ballast are capable of 120V or 240V Plug in..So why wouldn't it work for this controller..Anyone have a little more knowledge?

So im going to have 4-1000hps light grow..I want to buy this and i think its a 40amp lighting controller from TITAN http://www.sunlightsupply.com/p-12173-titan-controls-helios-2.aspx and sense its got a 120V outlet i can plug it in my grow room in any house outlet and mount it.. And the 1000 lights im getting are able to run on 120V or 240V and their are 4 outlets on the controller for each 1000. Will this work? Thanks you

that controller needs to be hard wired to work, and it should be wired on its own circuit.it wont just plug into a outlet.gl
