Help with lighting

i want to have an HPS light CFL lighting fixture and a ceiling fan all connected to one powerstrip is there any way to do that or am im screwed

are you referring to the safety and if it can/could trip the circuit breaker? if so, if that is what you are worrying about..... try to split all of your equipment over 2 circuits, instead of one.

I was joking. How many watts of hps? And how many watts of cfl's? Most breakers are 15 amps i think. You want the hps and cfl's on the same cycle?

haha thanks for the welcome. i am gonna do a 200watt hps, 42watts of CFL in one fixture and a panasonic ceiling fan. im sorry my box is coming together nicely i just dont know much about wiring haha

You should be okay as long as nothing else is on that circut. Did you know that a microwave is like 1000 or more watts?
