Ok, I am going to start flowring my plants soon and im using CFL's (ive been using he multi spectrium setup) . I know they have to be in the 2700k spectrium but if i use 3 of them hanging over the plant will it be to much?

the general rule of thumb is the more lights the bigger better bulbs so i wouldnt worry too much about that but to see if the lights are to close put your hand under the light and make sure that at the plants hight you cannot feel the heat from the lights on the back of your hand(back of hand is more sensative too heat) otherwise the more watts and lumens the better

there is no such thing as too much light... the thing that could kill your plants in having the light to close to their tops. I would say to try and keep the lights about 30inches from the tops.

30 inches is to far for cfls , the trick with cfl grows is to get them "as close" as u can without burning id say maybe 5-10cms

how is there no such thing as to much light , i think you better check the incorrect statements your are leaving here, to much light and your plants stop to photosynth, if your doubting that fact, i can prove it , can you ? peace all

Yes they will work just fine if used properly, check my avatar that is a 65 watt 4200 lumens bulb, just one bulb per plant (the T9 is for suplimental light and mixed spectrum, which is always a good idea)
