Lack of response is generally due to one of two reasons; you didn't give enough details or else it's a problem that people aren't familiar with.

First question would be, are you growing in soil or other?

Im using black gold potting soil had lots of luck with it. I think my problem mite be temp related but not sure if theres any relation to the room temp and root issues

I've never heard of room temps, especially 82, causing root problems in soil. I would say you should start considering other factors. Soil that stays too wet is bad for roots and causes them to form a weaker base than proper watering. On the other hand plants that aren't watered enough will also have a weak root base. As I have never grown in soil, that is as much help as I can offer. Good luck!
