I don’t know what wrong with my plant.
I use foxfarm ocean forest soil
Have a mars ts 1000 150 watts
Plant looks like nitrogen burn but I have no used Nutes on it yet.
im growing 3 plants two are sour banana sherbet hybrid those look ok but the plant that’s not right is the chem4 og
This is my second grow and I grew chem4 og last time in different soil and it did not do this till end of flower. Plants are only 3 weeks old so I don’t know what’s the deal? Should I get cal-mag plus? Could it be heat stress? From light too close had at 18 inches raised it to 24 to see if that worked. Any ideas would be helpful and thanks in advance.

Anyone else have any ideas? Or should I just feed more water a feeding with nutes. I water every 2 days 3/4 of a quart of water. Is that too little?

Looks like a pH problem. And over watering. Are you PHing your water? If it’s FFOF there is plenty of fertilizer there. Just watch for signs of Cal Mag deficiency.
I know you said it looks like a ph problem. It might be my ph. Ph tester I broke last grow. Going to order one on line today. Thanks also you said to watch out for cal mag deficiency. Does the leafs on my plant look like cal mag deficiency? Or should I just order cal-mag plus and add to my feeding schedule?

Ph for FFOF ( prebuffered from bag ) @6.3.
Target 6.3 - 6.5 ( allow drift ) no more no less.

I use standard tap and adjust only. Ffof does have enough to feed plant initially for weeks.

What kind of water source are you using ?
Get new pen or simple PH drops ( kit ) from local hydro shop. That kit has a simple color grading chart to show where ph falls ... no meter needed.

But why bottled ? Ph can vary from regional sources and makers. Spring sources vary too.
Bottled water can range from 4.5 to 9.5 alkaline .

To be honest i could never figure out why some growers spend the cash on bottled when you can either use your municipal sources or even get RO by the gallon at various “ water shops or machines “.

I see what you mean...about the leaf margins. FFOF should have all a plant needs for the first month. But can be too hot for some plants in the beginning.

I would not feed nutes...though if you want to add a bit of calmag to the water...that would be ok unless you already have "hard water:. If so...then just water and dry and repeat. Plant will grow out of it. Nice and dark now...so plenty of reserver N. Questions?

I live in a city and I don’t drink drink tap water only bottle water. So I figured if I won’t drink tap water( don’t like the taste) plant won’t like it with the minerals in it. Don’t trust city water. So your saying tap water would be fine?

Yep ... however I suggest getting ppm / ph pen anyways to see the base line numbers.
where the ph falls and the ppm of it ( plain ).

Many growers think by adding “ special “ water it’s gonna make a difference. It Won’t.
Municipal water has cal and mag intact ... sometimes just enough. You water your grass with it , you put in a dog bowl , you cook with it , you shower with it . Plants have thrived on it , why wont your weed ?

Keep your grows simple .... start doing “ special “ things and it will lead to complications.
Soil ... Water .. light .... pretty much it.

Hi Rolloff,
Take a look at ice cubes made with your tap. If the ice is white and milky...high ppm...but if you have really clear ice, that means few minerals.
