I just started my first grow i have a 200w clf i have one 2700 and a 6500. I am going to run the light 18 hours a day and i think i pay .08 cents a kilowatt hour. So how much is it going to cost a month to run?

200 watt cfl? which is like 500watt equivalent? u mean like the biggest cfl u can buy? or do u mean a 200watt equiv. that is about a 75watt cfl?
if your answer is A, then it will not cost u much not sure what, but not much. if the answer is B than it will cost u next to nothing.

so some simple math...
1 kwh is = to 1000w for one hour
so your using 400w or .4kwh/h
so .4 x 18 x 30= 216kwh used

So you think about 20 dollars a month give or take? That is great im glad i went cfl. I got 2 hindu kush 1 snowryder and 1 blueberry kush. They just popped up out of the soil so im exicited.
