Help with Scrog! First Scrog Hopefully not too late. With Pics

My baby was about 18inch and I decided to use Scrog to control the weight of the buds ill be having because im using Co2 and Big Bud and Bud Candy and what not.

Im one week from starting flowering and threw in the SCR. not necessarily to have the screen full of green but to support the buds.

I kinda just laid the screen on top of the plant and guided the long enough branches WITH BREAKING ONE lol. but will it be ok? and it will fallow threw the screen in about a week or so?
What do you guys think?

your on the right track,just keep training and tying down to the screen

hey can someone help me out with understanding this. so all you do is build a screen and tie the colas down for more bud support. isnt that what LST's for?

well you want to guide the branches along the bottom of the screen to help promote the lower branches growth, yes it is alot like the lst, just this way you dont have to have a bunch of ties on your plant, more just bending them in different directions and guiding them to grow horizontally an not vertically, the screen is good to keep an even canopy to that way you dont have to move lights and whatnot.

I would veg for another week, keep all the growing shoots UNDER the screen. Just keep pulling them back under and moving them. When your screen is about 75% full, flip to 12/12, train for another 3-4 days MAX, then let them grow up through the screen. Your buds will end up about 1 foot above the screen is its a sativa/indica hybrid. Check out the threads in my signature for more SCROG info and pics.
