HELP WITH SEEDLING

Ok thank you this is my first time growing do you usually germinate them first or simply place them into the soil ?

I used to germinate my seeds using paper towel method, but haven't in quite some time.

Seemed foolish to me when all seeds of my other fruit, vegetables and herbs go directly into medium. Cannabis seeds aren't special in this regard. Far less risk of damaging the sensitive tap root, and they grow out of the medium faster.

2-3 days germinating in paper towel, then another 2 days before it breaks the surface. Skip all of the extra stuff, and I have plants in 2-3 days.

Ok cool and do you put it under the light as soon as you put the seed in or no

As I said, until the plant grows out of the medium and for 2-3 days after, I keep them under a 23W CFL light in my clone tent. After that, they go into a veg tent, directly under a 400W Metal Halide lamp.
