Help with seedlings and stem length

And everyone is making me stress!
I mean look at those beauties. There's faith for me.

Or was that after transplanting and covering the stem?
Nope just transplant and prop up
But I have buried stems in the past with nothing but success. Thanks sorry for hijacking

Pffff hijacking what? I love seeing pics of others that have had longass stems but still succeeded. Thanks a bunch.
I'm kinda stuck between the 2 options. I will either transplant and bury deeper in a week or if I feel they're going to be fine I'll just prop them up :)

If a seedling needs support its not worth it....

Just easier and probably quicker in the long run, start some anyway just because these might not take too well... :-)
Hahah I live in an illegal country, can't just get seeds anywhere. The order took a month to arrive as well. Plus if I plant any later it's going to get way too cold before harvest time.

You can prop up a seed and it can still be perfectly fine my man.

Sorry this could be the dumbest question but not even google will tell me what a "dirt ball" is?
Do you just mean take the actual plant out and repot?
Dirt ball would be a root ball minus the roots:bigjoint:. But yeah, just dig it up once it's stronger, remove dirt from the bottom of the pot, plant it deeper, then cover the stem with more dirt. If you have rooting hormone, you can apply it to the buried section of the stem to speed things up a little, but it's not needed.

I'll bug ya again with this website

https://greenpointseeds.com/collections/greenpoint-seeds/products/durban-poison-x-star-dawg

He says he ships anywhere and from the sound of things, this strain will blow your mind. I'm growing 3 of his stains now and they are fantastic should be in stock soon
Is that for me?
For starters it's beautiful and that website is now in my bookmarks. But I definitely don't want to grow more than 3 right now . Will keep it for the future

Perfect, thank you. Gonna do this on the upcoming Friday. How much space do you think I should leave between the soil and leaves? Someone said 5cm which sounds about right.

I'd bury them right to the cotyledon. I've dug a trench next to lanky plants and just pushed them over into it and put dirt over the stem. Same thing without having to dig up and repot.

So with Durban, you must like the uplifting sativa types?
How's your growing season where your from?
Maybe start a grow journal, its fun and you can look back on your notes and advice!

I live in an illegal country, seeds have no drug chemicals in them therefore they cannot be classed as illegal and are freely legal to order and buy, your state or country may be more anal in classifying non drug things as illegal under your drug law.

I didn't get some of my sprouts out in the sun quick enough, and a few are tall and lanky. I needed to transplant them from cups to gallon pots, but didn't have space under my grasshopper screen. So I flung them out. Will have to wait to see how they do. This was yesterday. Note the grasshopper damage even with the screen. Maybe they will still be there when I go check on them.

Looks like you have sand dunes for soil there. I'd cover that up with straw, shredded leaves or bark or grass clippings.
Soon all your soil will look like the stuff in the pot.

Next year if you want to do the same thing, just make the hole and fill it, don't use the pot.
