Help with stealth grow

Hi everyone, I'm going to start growing soon with CFLs and I have no clue what I should do about the temperature. Does anybody have ideas about a cheap fan and how to hook it up?
 
anyone? i've seen pictures of people setting up a pc fan in theirs, i'm asking what do i need for that and how do i set it up. any help would be appreciated

so do i need to take the white plastic thing off of the wires on the fan and then connect them to the DC adapter? Where would I get DC adapter and the fan?

Temperatures have never been a problem for me when working with CFL's. That is one of the advantages of using them.

You should be able to purchase an adapter and any electrical/hardware store and the fan at a store that sell computers lol.
 
so i went out and got a fan 120mm...turns out it has 4 wires :-?. Luckily i had an old bose dock which had an AC/DC adapter with 4 wires. hooked the red to red and blue to blue. Tried the other two wires 2 different ways and got nothing :roll:. So i'm thinking of just leaving the top of my box off during "daylight" hours and then putting it back on for "nighttime" hours. Hopefully it won't get too hot. Going to get a thermometer tomoro, I'll post pics of the current setup sometime later. I've got 2 seeds that have already germinated in 2 solo cups. hopefully i have some females. Time to get situated here bongsmilie, goodnight people and thanks for the help
 
radio shack carry a 12v 1.5a for 12bux it'll run 5 92mm fans good some of those toy power supply are only good for bout 500 ma which will power 2 fans slow
 
ive got a 150 hps and 3 26w cfl's in on cab 20.5"x11.5x28h cooled with 5 92mm pc fans and as far as cfl's being cooler there not that 150 with ballast mounted remote inside exhaust light trap is way cooler than the cfl's bet i could replace the cfl's with a 2nd 150 and be cooler,anyway with 2 fans exhausting and 2 supplying and one blower across bulb i stay 5F above ambient lights on
