Just checked herbies out, u think I should could go for a sog grow with northern lights? 2.4 1.2 2.0 metre tent? N optimise the light n get a better result instead of grow 4 monsters?
I would go for a ScrOG rather than SOG just because I feel its a lot more efficient. Later on i think you'd do better with 4 monsters than 6 smaller ones but to begin with having 6 will mean that if one or two fuck up and die then you won't be left with next to nothing

Gorilla seed bank is in the uk. They just started sponsoring the site. Probably look for something indica dom but not a kush cause the streach alot and don't yeild the best. Dinafem critical+would be a good one low streach, good yeild, super steanky and tasty, easy to grow and it a strong plant with thick stems so it doesn't need much support.

I don't know if NL will be particularly good for scrog but I'm about to run mine that way so well see! But yeah 4 big ones to fill the screen in this case only means a longer veg time, which if your fine with then yeah good luck and enjoy otherwise with 6 you could just veg for a little less time.

4-6 30 litre pots so am kinda hope for 4 Oz per plant, I am new to growing but have friends who will help me but the more help I get the more free bud I will need to put out lol. I was going to veg for 4-5weeks then flip them

Closer to 7 week veg would be a lot better. 2 or 3 weeks makes a big difference in plant size and buds.

I'm going to try an 7 or 8 week veg next see if I can do a bit better.

My current plant I vegged for 3 months. Never did it that long before. Today is day one for flower time. Had other plans but decided to flower her anyhow. Thats how I got that much veg time in. Did 24 hour light till a week before flower. Now its 13 on 11 off. The more tropical time for flowering.

Yes it takes a while to grow. Good ideas. Make a seperate clone area. Take clones and do 24 hour light. Make sure they stay real wet. If you do it right you harvest then put a clone in its place. This gets you to veg in less time if done right. The other time frames. I don't know how to help them.

I have also been waiting a while for a good harvest.

I'm currently growing exodus cheese from www.original-ssc.com happy with there delivery times etc. packaging is discrete and they always have freebie seeds, getting some free auto's can be handy in case of some devastating failure during the first few weeks
EC is a good one for ScrOG (according to a lot of reviews) it's branchy and will need support in the last couple of weeks, I made a half assed attempt at ScrOG on my first grow and it responded well
nice smoke if you like cheeses, I find them all to be 29 minutes of couch lock followed by a minute of wait wasn't I wasted a minute ago then I start rolling again

See I like the sound of someone saying the plant will need support in the last couple of weeks lol, there's a load of blue cheese round here but it's the Chinese that doing it and it's getting sprayed with shit it's not pleasant to smoke hence why I want to grow my own, sick of people trying to charge £20 for 1.4 gram. What is EC?

35g(ish), 23W CFL for veg, 400w HPS for flower, 0.8Msq tent (first bulb was an old loan and it did half the flower, 23W isn't really enough for veg)
plants needed more time to root in to 18L pots and ScrOG was done badly, current batch has just been topped and tied back during veg are doing a lot better
I might come back to ScrOG later but it's not a first grow thing for me
The plant needing support is more a characteristic, it puts out lots of thin stalks to grow buds from rather than ones that can support there own weight, then seed distributors take that negative and call it a selling point "buds so big the stems can't support it" is similar to stems so thin they can't hold the buds
growing Liberty Haze from Barneys as well which came in about 48g, it's a 10 week flower instead of 8 but pushed out a nice yield, satisfying grow and can take a lot of abuse, other than the longer flower it's a nice first grow just requires a little patience.
if this is your first grow forget how many ounces will you get, it's "will it be weed?"
worry about how many ounces when you've gotten more experience under your belt
