Help With The Law

sweet man!
I say it all the time... have a lawyer on retainer at all times.
(probably $500.00 to $1,000.00 on the low end, my friend is an attorney so I don't know the going rates for new clients anymore)

You can pretty much just tell the cops to go fuck themselves and hand them your attorneys card and have no issues.

Seriously, people get themselves in trouble all the time by not knowing what to do. Never answer any questions a cop asks you EVER unless it for something like directions to the donut shop. If you're a minor and a cop ever asks you any questions just tell him you're a minor and you're not answering shit without your parents present or counsel present then shut up period and don't buy into his prying. If you have an attorney, just tell him you cannot answer any questions AT ALL without your attorney, keep a card in your wallet so you have one to hand to him because he will try to call your bluff if you don't.

If they are going to arrest you they just do it and there will be no way to talk yourself out. Never rat on anyone, ever.

Ok so on Thursday my connect hits me up saying 8ths for $40. I tell him to drive to my house and he parks out front about 20 feet in front of an empty cop car. The cop is across the street talking to my neighbor about something not important so I proceed to get into my connect's car. He drives down the street and when we get to the end of the block he hands me the 8th. There is no way anyone could have seen the hand off. He then drives me around the block and drops me off on the other side of my house. The whole process took only 2 minutes. I go to my basement, pack a bowl, smoke, then put everything I was using away. After all this I notice the officer and my neighbor are still talking only now parked right out front my house. A couple minutes pass and it they have been talking for half an hour only now pointing at me through my family room windows. Eventually the cop goes away and my neighbors with their whole family are on their porch talking and pointing at me in the windows once again. Yesterday a cop car stopped outside my house for a minute wrote something down, (possibly my house number) and drove away. Later that day a cop posts up on the opposite side of my house and stays there for about 15 minutes while im in my driveway shooting basketball. On Thursday when this whole thing went down I was the only one home at my house. Cops almost never stop in my neighborhood and post up where the guy did last night. I'm concerned with they come ask me questions and have me snitch out my connect or make me set up a fake deal? I need answers if someone could help that would be great.
It's obviously a tough crowd cashed, did we learn anything from this? Besides what not to do!

Frosty knows what's up. Not sure where you're living, but even in a lot of illegal states, cannabis is decriminalized. Fuck the cops. They can't do shit over $40 worth of weed, except a ticket. Even if they can, you don't owe then an apology or an explaination. If they were gonna scoop you, they're gonna do it either way. The best possible way to handle cops is simply keep your mouth shut. If it's the real deal and you have something to be concerned about, find yourself a lawyer and have them speak to the police.

Your mistake was having him show up with cops already present. You got in the car abd came back in 2 mins....im sure they were at the last suspicious of someone who picks someone up. Goes around the corner. Comes back. Drops them off and leaves.

Pretty obvious to anyone observing what was going on even if you didn't actually do the deal in their sight.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Cops have more serious things to do than bust someone with an 8th. Unless we're talking say Texas or Florida

hey. im stoned.

There's some great advice on here. Best advice, stop making transactions at home unless your friend is going to hang around for at least an hour, but it's better left for another neutral location. Second best piece of advice. Never talk to police. Ever.about anything! There is never a need to do so. Don't even answer your door. If they approach you outside respectfully invoke your 5th ammendment right to silence and ask them to leave your property.
