The water wont heat up that much. With 4 1000 w Hps system, your gonna need a 220 volt outlet. You wont be able to run 4 hps 1000w lights off one 15 amp circuit, let alone everything else with it. Keep these things in mind. I would go with no more that 8 plants per res. You should still go this route if you have everything for it. Just dont overdue it. Lst, and top your plants, and you can have huge yields. Make sure you have great ventilation as well.

dont have to use all 4 lights i just have them if need be . do you think i should hook drip feed intill my plants find the water ? or will the bubbles popping be enough to get them wet?

if use like 5 gal bucket with the net top that fits them put some clay pellets then your plant with rockwool and cover up with more clay pellets just have the water at leasr hit the pellets to siep up to the root i would make sure the water would hit the roots youwere saying you want to go 4 by 2 i have seen sewer pipe conected with elbows and stuff with big hole drilled in it for plant and drains to res and is top feed
