Remember to put plant into 24-48hr darkness - if you do that harvest in one week the "darkness" period just for two day adds a week to your harvest, so it would be two weeks. Of course it depends on the feeling you want to obtain - harvest is a personal thing - harvest time has a two week window
I don't understand that? Are you saying that the 'dark period' helps speed up the final ripening process by a week or slows it a week or increases the yield by a weeks worth of growth?

I find that the dark period works well for some strains and not a slight bit for others... thats just my opinion based on my own experience!
Thanks for your input - never thought of it - do you think Indica's or Sativa strains get the best results from the "dark period" ?

Nowt else cooking mate youre welcome, its Rugby Sunday which I hate and feckin raining here... Never really noted which were better for the dark period, however I can say undoubtedly that Blue Cheese from Barneys Farm goes resin crazy if it gets extended darkness at around week 11-12 of flower or just when leaves get that purple tinge

Hair color doesn't mean a thing. Chop it when the hair is shriveling and all brown and unless you looked and saw ALL milky trichomes you Fucked up! Be smart get a magnifier and ditch the hair color urban legend.

thats right. but imho its not about the thc but about the cannabinoid profile.->thats why we have so many strains.
u should look at the whole plant as well.look for swollen calyxes.combining plant look + trichomes gets the best potential out of your plant i think.
peace

this is the full plant it was an outside grow but grew way to tall and got chopped in half by a branch falling on it

day 34 into flower. in a 7 gallon pot. plant makes it look like a 3 gallon. qp for sure

How do you get it to bush out like that
lst real young up till flower. and easy way to do it is to put thumb tacks into the hard plastic rim of the pot and just tie the branches down. when they are clones after they take root into the soil like one week, tie the top down so that the light is just hitting the hole side. it looks kinda funky at first but it will grow into a bush

also the plant in the picture is just to heavey so all the branches sprawl out and it looks bushy. I had it out because I was staking and tieing it up

I'm officially stealing the thumbtack thing lol. I've been drilling holes in the rim like a chump....
