Does anyone here have msn ? and is willing to add me and talk about growing with a fluorescent light? and how to properly do it... cause i keep getting different shit told to me all the time and i have no idea what to do now..

yeah , i grew it since march break on natural sunlight at my window ... and it grew said 45 cm and its skinny as hell.. but i got a fluorescent light for it.. so i made a room with aluminum foil and put the plant in the with a fan and a bowl of water for humidity i was told...

First off. Take the foil down and replace it with mylar, panda or the like. Or just paint the walls flat white. Get some pics up. Go to Wally and get a shit load of cfls, y splitters and clamp on lamps. And we will go from there. Lets grow.:peace:

For veg you can have the light on 24/7 , 18/6 , or 20/4 whatever you choose. For flowering 12/12.Keep the lights a couple inches off the top.You definitely need a fan.And you are going to need more light. They sell those 4 foot shop lights at wal-mart.So you are gonna use the fluorescent through out the whole plants life cycle??

i dont think foil is that bad to use like everyone says it is, yes their is better stuff around but foil will still do if you cannot get anything else.
Dont worry about hot spots caused by foil, those tubes dont get hot enough to create hot spots.

You can use 24/0 , 20/4 or even 18/8 to veg, i would say go with 20/4 though.
Also, Grab some cfl bulbs and place them around her.

Good luck growing

Yep, at Wally the 4 fters are like 10 bucks. Still I would think about adding some cfls. Easier to get the light right spot you need it. Very important with flouros. Gotta have them close. And mix you cool whites with warm whites. Tubes that is.
