So i plant my plant in a clay pot its been in there for about nine days and today i have moved it into the ground outside where i planted it there is direct sunlight for about 10 hours a day. its usually about 90 degrees where i live. BUT the only thing is that the plant is very small (probablly about four and a half inches tall) and the stem is really skinny and thin. My question is whats wrong with my plant!

10 hours a day of sun?? or 10 hours a day of direct sun? you said direct sun, but haven't stated what time of year you started growing...
Basically, have you started growing her at the right time of year? I ask this because if seedlings aren't growing it usually means over watering, root problems, and/or insufficient light. Over-watering causes droopy leaves and root problems cause yellowing and since you have none of those I would suggest moving her indoors under a cfl and perhaps a humidity dome. This way, the temps will stay constant and she will grow faster until she is big enough for the outdoors.

You should always post the pH of your soil/water, how many hours of light she's getting, and how many times you water her for RIU to get a good sense of her environment :).
Composition of soil is also pretty important though more for the latter stages of development.

She looks good otherwise so gl to you!!

Youre growing the wrong time of year for where youre at. Grow in the winter time. Used to do it outside in phx. Your plant is trying to flower now that its only getting 10hrs of light. Also the temp and humidity is to high/low to grow outside this time of year there
