my grow has 2 weeks left but i've just noticed that some of the buds r going a blacky purpley colour can anybody help me?

Those are some really red lights what type are they?
can't really see anything in the pics
It sounds like bud rot this is usually from over watering
high humidity poor air movement whatever else

Sodium halide 400w it only 8weeks old thats the best pics not got a fan but not had problem with it before?

You never had moisture holding maturing budz either...what you described (and next pic turn off the HPS and use regular room light or flash) is bud rot/mold. To my knowledge and I could be wrong, there is no real way too fix it once it is in the bud, except to cut the effected budz and change the grow area conditions...sorry for your loss.

nope been fine up 2 now could it be cos its a different kind of weed? so if i cut them off & make sure its well vented it shouldn't spread?

I wouldn't cut just yet stuart. Get some air flowing and see how that works 1st.
