HELP!!

Hi everyone
I'm a first-time grower and am getting worried!
I germinated a white widow seed 3 weeks ago, planted it in coco coir, and it's still only just over an inch tall, and it's gone completely yellow.
I think I might have over-watered it, so I'm in the process of trying to dry it out.
So, a week ago, I germinated a northern lights, and although it's still green, it seems to have stopped growing!
Anyone got a clue as to what I'm doing wrong?o_O

i don't grow in coco so i may be wrong. but there are no nutrients in it. I think youmay need to intro a very small amount of veg nutes.

They will grow slow for a while as they expand their roots. the light color, indicating N def, is more troubling to me than size. But read up on coco because I don't want to steer you wrong.

Hi GrowinDad
Yeh, I've never used this stuff before but it was what was advised on grow weed easy .com.
I'm confused with the nutes - I bought a pack of 3 - base, boost, & bloom, but I don't really know how to use them!
I'll do a bit more research on coco coir.
I'm in the UK and don't know the equivalents of the USA products, so I went for the coco coir, but maybe it's the wrong thing?
Thanks for your help, tho

Get some nitrogen to those puppies! Whatever ur veg nute is, add it into ur water at 1/4 strength than gradually adjust as needed.

I use fox farms nutes, i dont use veg nutes since i grow autos and the soil i use has enough nutes to sustain them thru veg but once those pistils come in i start using big bloom and tiger bloom at qtr strength then read my plants and adjust accordingly.

The coco is the problem. It's a great additive to soil because it retains water and it's natural pH is more friendly to cannabis as opposed to peat moss which is highly acidic. The issue is that coco has no nutrients. Good potting soil is a much better growing medium because it has nutrients and it's a great buffer. With 100% coco you are likely going to get wild pH fluctuations when you water unless you are being careful and testing your pH. Which brings me to the question..... Are you checking your pH? I recommend getting a pH test kit and testing the water that is draining out the bottom of the containers. It should be around the low 6's. I'm guessing that yours probably isn't close to that.

The other issue here could be too much moisture. Like I said, coco retains a lot of water and that's not necessarily good for plant roots. I see that your plants are in small containers, so that's a good thing. I suggest transplanting into soil. Be careful not to over water and the plants should bounce back quickly.

Aw thanks, guys - this is very helpful!
Coldrain, I'm gonna take your advise and replant with soil. Can't get used to this coir stuff at all! My PH is between 6 & 7, usually around 6.5.
Jussblaz, I can't seem to get Fox Farms nutes (I'm in Scotland) so I got an equivalent. These 2 I'm growing are also autos, according to who I bought the seeds from, so I'll follow your advice on that.
GrowinDad, thanks again for your help too.
This Rollitup is a great thing to have access to!
Cheers
