You will have fun using it to test the total dissolved solids of your watering mix. When all nutrients are mixed for feeding there is a limit to the total E/C or PPM's that you will not want to surpass. Let us know what results you get with it.I ordered a cheap one on amazon. I'll know a bit more what's up when I test the runoff
