OK so I have done plenty of indoor operations but am trying to do outdoor organic this year and I'm definitely soil challenged lol I have no clew of how to mix or make proper soil I plan on digging 3ft diameter and 3ft deep but have no clue on the formula of bags to nuits to anything brand new to this and can't find a guide step by step process that explains how much of everything I need to purchase to make enough mix for all 24 of my plants son if someone can give me a good formula for one hole I can do the rest of the math please help time is running out

I have seen those mixes but I'm really bad at figuring out how much I need . I don't want to not make enough since it has to bake for 30 to 60 days prior to using it ya know I wish there was somewhere that could tell me how much would work for the size of hole

Thank u so much now I gotta figure out the formula on 504 cubic feet of soil oh god lol I'm telling u I'm so bad at math . I guess I only fill the hole up half way with the super soil then the rest in a basic soil so I really only need to make 252 cubic feet of soil Which is also 84 cubic yards cuz I know that's what most stuff says on the bags is yrds not feet

There are 27 cubic foot in a cubic yard.So you need 21.195x24 holes = 508.68 then half this = 254(near enough)cubic foot.
Then divide 254 by 27 = 9.4 cubic yards of supersoil to half fill your holes. You are gonna be busy digging and back filling for a while.
Its a fucking mission liljames, but good luck with it.

Digging sucks. I hate that shit. Fucks my back up real quick. You must live where the soil sucks. Good luck man. Hope it works out for you. Don't you thing you might get away with just some lime and a few amendments. I paid over $200 to make those 9 cubic feet of soil.

There is quite a few premixed soils on the market. Have you considered using straw bales to make outdoor pots. Just lay them into big rectangle shapes. As long as your not trying to hide it which I doubt since your talking about spending a lot of time in the field digging and transporting soil. Search the internet and even YouTube. You'll see what I'm talking about with the straw.

Growing outdoors is a pleasure in many ways. First magnesium, which Cannabis needs a steady supply of, is rarely in short supply.
To improve the texture and fertility of your soil add some composted manure. Also add a handful of blood and bone meal and a handful of rock phosphate. Greensand and Epsom salts at the same rate. Lastly a handful of dolomite lime. Double dig the hole about one foot deep and two feet around. (3ft is too deep) Double digging is where you excavate a foot deep of soil then dig an extra 8-10" and improve the soil to that depth. You can also create a raised bed for your plant by either containing the space with timbers, or use one of those porous bags that growers use indoors. Just dig the ground underneath so the roots have extra depth to grow into. You'll have to cut the bottom of the bag out also.
