Hempy Bucket Flowering EC or Potassium?

I have another plant in a seperate Box which is in a Hempy bucket and it is showing similar problems. Would you agree with me?
Hope you could give me your advice again
100% perlite hempy day 18 of flower
EC 1.55 starting from 0.2
PH input 5.7
Output 6.2
I would say these are clear signs of a hungry plants but I would ask for a second opinion before.
The difference is that this plant is turning somehow light green as well.
Now I am not sure if I should try a lower EC or a Higher One
I am using GH Maxibloom

Thank you so much to help me out ;)

Looks over fed too me also.. Could be salt build up in your perlite.. Do you get good runoff?

Was always watering till 30 % runoff so hopefully no salt buildup

Your advice: flush and feeding EC around 1.0 afterwards?

Multiple feeds a day?
Ive read a lot about hempy and throught you should the hempy let dry a bit between the waterings. Maybe watering every other day. Now you say multiple feedings.
Bit confused what to do now...

But I will flush now and lower the EC and get back in touch with you now.

Btw it's a 13 gal hempy

Thank you sooo much!

it really depends on your hempy media: coco, perlite, perlite/coco, perlite/vermiculite, etc. pure perlite holds the least water so watering more often.

the good news is you can't overwater a hempy:

your drain hole is 2" up from bottom?

and next time, i don't think you need more than a 5 gal bucket. 13 seems overkill

This explains the multiple day feed.
Ok just for my calculation
How much medium would you recommend for a 1qm space?
Like I know more plants=smaller pots but how much perlite in total?
30l for 1m2 is fine?

And I made an mistake
Not used to calculations in gal.
My pot is around 8 gal ;)
Sorry

Lots of recirculating systems using hempy or dutch buckets that water several times per day.
Minimum would be once per day.
It's recommended, so the water in the bottom of your bucket keeps getting replenished and doesn't go stagnant.
Stagnant water causes root rot.

I always thought everybody is using hempy bucket drain to waste style.
But hey
Always ready to learn new.
Any recommendation on how many pots I should use per 1m2?
Will try several plants in the next run ;)

Really up to you. One, couple, or a few.
I use a 1.2 tent indoors and seem to like about 4. (5gallon pots)
Have managed up to seven 5gallon pots.
Best yield in the space so far was 1 plant in larger pot approach.
This isn't using hempy buckets, though, just DTW.

Easy
Thank you
Gonna go with one more question then I am done ;p
I have a huge 1m2 Croots Mix(20gal) plants in my other tent amt which is day of flower 28.
In the last days it started to get nearly the same discoloration as my hempy plant but with some burned leaftips as well.
Any tips what's going on here?
Temps and Rh are alright but it is kinda stunned in bud development :s
When I saw the leafdiscoloration I gave it some Biofertilizer 2-5-8 and some melasse as usual.
I mean it lookes healthy in total but the buds are quiet small for day 28.
Potassium issue as well or maybe soil to hot?

My opinion, you're mostly chasing ghosts, better to just leave things be and see what happens. As you've already given fertilizer etc, done all you can for now.
Stop defoliating so much.
Doesn't look too bad for day 28, be patient, weeks/months to go.
20 gallons of soil, careful of how often you water.
And, careful with fertilizer.
Much easier to add fertilizer if need be, than it is to take away.

Why do you think I defoliated to much?
It was really full in there and my intention was to get a better light penetration.
This girl is drinking a lot
I give her 10l every 3 days and try to keep the topsoil moist ;)
And yeah I know I will stop giving any fertilizer for at least 2 weeks now and decide then how to proceed ;)

How many lights/watts do you have above your plants? Do you have a par meter/app or know the amount of lux/lumins? Curious if it could be too much light..
What about your nutrients? Solely maxibloom @ 1.5ec or anything else added, and calcium? What's your runoff ec?

Depends on where in the Box it is between 500-680umol 3500k
Guess everything up to 800 should be fine?
I start with RO water 0.0 EC go up with CalMg to 0.2 and then add Maxibloom till I reach 1.2(that's what I do now before till 1.6)

Not sure about the conversion ?

But, 5 gallon pail with a 3" styrofoam plug in the bottom, so about 4 gallons of perlite.

I mix 6g/gallon of Maxibloom and she is drinking +1/2 gallon per day (to runoff).

Well water ppm is ~500, ph is ~7.5. No cal/mag, no ph down.

600w MH/HPS in a 5 x 5 enclosure.

Wedding Cheesecake auto, day 84. No issues..

Which media are you using?
Hempy as well?
Ph 7.5 sounds way to high if you don't have a buffering peat substrat
It's at the top of my post, perlite.

I haven't ph'ed my ProMix HP either for years !

The Maxi series is ph buffered.

Cheers
