Herbies afghani regular

So after my original grow had to be abandoned due to a possible security issue, I'm ready for some action again.

I've opted to give these afghani regulars that herbie is giving away like sweets a chance. I figure a plant doesn't know what name it's been given or what price tag it has, and I could find myself a diamond in the rough.

so day 6 of veg and out of 2 plants so far I have one plant that is noticeably taller and is also showing some leaf deformity already and has a light pine smell to the stem but not the leaf. I'm thinking I have a male here or a mutant or both. I'll give it a few weeks of veg growth to see if I wanna take it into flower or not.

The second plant however is giving me good vibes. It's remained shorter, the leaves are uniform, there is a heavy purple pigmentation to under the leaf which may be a good sign for later on , there is a heavy pine smell off of leaf and stem of this one aswell, so looking good and hope its a female.

both are growing in biobizz light mix right now before I transplant to all mix, and they are getting 250 watts of hps light.

so another grow wasted, another 2 weeks wasted. getting annoyed now.

this grow is over because these plants turned out to suck. the deformed one I got rid of and hedged my bets on he nicer one of the two, as it progressed over the last week its leaves started to claw and curl and I was just giving it plain water (and not overwatering, watering until pot drys) and it was in LIGHT MIX , the one that is specifically short of nutes so seedlings wont burn, and I am at day 11 and figured I might try it with 1/4 strength nutes as it was in need of water and literally within 2 hours the leaves were burnt to a crisp ... now, I'm not saying this wasn't grower error,i'm no pro and maybe an expert would have handled it different, but it's no good for my needs I need a plant which will tolerate a bit of error here and there, but ive never seen such a fast reaction to a feed .. like a few hours , crazy

Nice..I've never been letdown by DNA good luck buddy.. I'm not exaggerating either..worst strain I've ever grown, I'm pissed Herbies sent me that dogshit. Huge waste of time n dirt..no nutes though because they can't even handle ffof without clawing up.

good input guys. At the time I germed them I was being a dreamer lol . I suppose how could herbies give thousands and thousands of them if they were anything other than afghan ditch weed.I guess like the lottery, you could endup with a keeper out of every 1000 plants. but damn, couldn't even handle light mix.

I haven't grown them yet. I will try them though to see for myself. On the mutated plant. Keep those. Most mutated plants I've had were fire weed.
